A pair of '57 Classic Alnico II humbuckers deliver that iconic PAF tone, and dual volume and tone dials give you greater control over your output. Gibson's modern weight-relief design allows you to move around on stage without the heavy feel that mahogany bodies tend to have. Maple and Mahogany Les Paul Body

Maple and mahogany are a great pair for generating a well-balanced resonance with plenty of depth and just the right amount of chime. Mahogany pushes the lows and mids while maple brings in the high end. Shouldering a dense and heavy mahogany body can get tiring, especially after a long set. That's why your Les Paul Traditional T features Gibson's modern weight-relief design so you can keep playing without any fatigue building up throughout your set.

Irresistible PAF Tone

Aside from their iconic look and addicting playability, Les Pauls are often sought after for their hot and biting PAF-infused tone. The '57 Classic in the neck position utilizes a traditional wind to generate a clear and warm output while the '57 Classic Plus at the bridge features an read more over-wound design to enhance your leads and riffs. Both pickups pack a powerful sonic punch and keep your performance sounding solid note after note.

Mahogany Neck in '50s Rounded Profile

Spanning 22 frets in length is your Les Paul Traditional T's quartersawn mahogany neck. This melodious appendage features a silky-smooth rosewood fingerboard, set with stylish traditional acrylic trapezoid fingerboard inlays. Each fret boasts a comfortable action, and the '50s rounded profile offers a slightly bulkier feel than the slim '60s profile, yet it still rests comfortably in your hand as you play.

Gibson 2016 Les Paul Traditional T

The Les Paul Traditional 2016 T's foundation is the same traditional tonewood combination that helped make the Les Paul a legend when it was introduced six decades ago. A beautifully carved solid Grade-AA figured maple top lends bite and articulation to the sound, while the solid mahogany back with traditional weight relief contributes superb warmth and depth.

Pure vintage-voiced tone with a contemporary edge comes courtesy of Gibson's '57 Classic(TM) pickups with traditional chrome covers, made in the image of the hallowed late 1950s PAF humbucker with Alnico II magnets. A traditional wind in the neck position provides plenty of warmth and clarity, and in the bridge position, slightly over-wound coils in the '57 Classic Plus(TM) offer juicy crunch and wailing lead tones.

Rock solid Les Paul. Everything about it is great. Pickups are very responsive to where you're at on the volume knob, lots of dynamic range. Stays in tune and looks stunning. Can't say enough good things about it. Very solid, well made guitar.
