The splendor of the sea is now imbued onto a Gibson Custom Memphis Figured ES-339. There can be no question about distinction with a Limited Run that has the hand-selected Figured Maple Top, Back and Rims specially stained and painted to evoke a mystical response in anyone who sees the dark cerulean features of these guitars.

The Figured ES-339 is also an innovation in the rich tone and remarkable feel of the timeless ES-335 design, only scaled down so the body is the size of a Les Paul. This instrument is singular in purpose even before you consider the eye-catching turbulence of the Stain Blue color. The dimensions of the neck are slightly bolder than '60s Slim Taper specifications, and the distinct sound is the result of pickups running through a characteristic wiring harness that loads the capacitors to the '57 Classic PAFs, all combining to emanate the complexity of the ocean while modest enough to sit in your lap.
