The DG Series has been created to give you the acoustic guitar that is best suited for your playing needs. DG Series guitars include traditional features, complete inspection and set-up of each model at Fender's factory in Corona, and affordable prices. They feature quality materials and superb workmanship that insure the comfort and playability of your new Fender acoustic. All this in a range of contemporary and beautiful styles and colors that feature acoustics, acoustics/electrics, nylon string, 12-string, left-hand models, and an acoustic/electric bass.

Equipped with a Fender piezo pickup and onboard preamp with active EQ, this guitar is ready for stage or studio. There's beautiful, high-gloss finished Mahogany on the back and sides, a select Spruce top, and die-cast tuners, too!

Sound: Shaymus: "I use an older version of this guitar (with a natural finish) for most of my shows and have played it for years now. It's very solid and non-tempermental, and gets a good amplified sound through a P.A. The tone and character of the guitar is even nicer unplugged, and I've never had any problem with its slipping tune or weirding out on me. Very dependable, rich sounding guitar" Feature: Shaymus "..the under-saddle pickup is easily EQued by slides on the first upper bout, and the guitar is really quite comfortable sitting in your lap. On stage, it's very light and well-balanced...which is why I use it for shows I guess..." Quality: Shaymus "This guitar has taken quite a beating on the road with me but hasn't cried once. It is very sturdy and well put together, and I have a lot of trust in it...which you need to have if you're going to play live with something. There's nothing better than not having to worry about your instrument during a gig - really. This review has been selected by our experts as particularly helpful. "No acoustic/electric in a reasonable price range has ever compared to the DG20CE."

Sound: Thick, full sound acoustic or plugged. Sounds great with thick strings down to Martin Marquis Lights (my preference), no lighter than .012-.054mm Feature: Perfectly engineered. Input placement in strap peg is handy (keeps strap from interfering), EQ placed directly in your sight, away from annoyances (hidden by strap like other similar priced ac/el's). Black colour w/ pickguard is extremely stylish. Quality: Solid top and option of black colour (along with polyurethane gloss finish) make this an axe that will definately catch your eye and crave it. Use Dunlop Formula No. 65 polish & cleaner. Value: Even Fender's recommended price of US$599 is uncontended by any worthwhile ac/el. For it's size, shape, and price this is the best value Fender ac/el, and quite possibly the best ac/el out there. Manufacturer Support: Self-caused problems before & after warranty were repaired quickly and craftfully. (Under warranty all problems dealt with without cost) The Wow Factor: Everyone who's ever seen mine has wanted it. Overall: Best guitar I own or ever have owned. I'd rather lose my left foot than my DG20CE, no joke.
