Plug in and rock out. The Fender Hot Rod DeVille 212 III features a pair of Celestion G12P-80 speakers and a modified tone circuit for better tone than ever.

From the early days, Fender has been turning heads with its trusted tube amplifiers. Put simply, if you've heard an electric guitar before, there's a decent chance you've heard it through a Fender Amplifier. In '96, Fender introduced its Hot Rod DeVille amplifier, and the series has been making waves ever since. In this incarnation, the Fender Hot Rod DeVille 212 III Guitar Combo Amplifier packs real tube power in a 60-watt package that's big enough to fill a small venue -- yet compact enough to fit in your trunk.

Get Extra Punch with More Drive

Most guitar amps offer a clean and a distorted channel, but the Hot Rod DeVille 212 III takes things one step further. Along with the standard Normal and Drive channels, it offers a More Drive switch, for those moments when you feel the need to "take it up to eleven."

Dial in Your Tube Tone

With genuine Groove Tubes tube amplifiers in the preamp and power amp sections, the Hot Rod DeVille 212 III has a voice of its own. Three-band EQ is provided with graduated volume and tone potentiometers that offer extra-smooth sweeps as you rotate the vintage-style "chicken head" control knobs. You've also get presence control and Fender's famed spring reverb on board, so you'll have no trouble dialing in the vintage tube tone you're after.

"Good buy for the buck"

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
For the price, sound and weight etc., cant go wrong
Sound
I would suggest working with the amp to create your unique tone with your pedal and off course a volume controller. This amp is loud and has enough juice to rock your local bar/hall.
Features
For the value/price; what I see as features are the tubes, construction etc. Buying an amp without features/ gizmo's is the best investment. This is why we use effects to color our sound. Amps should come with basics. Volume, bass, treble, middle and a master volume control.
Ease of Use
Tailoring your sound to ones needs has nothing to do with playability. I would agree it needs some tweeking so be prepared to spend some time before gigging.
Quality
Had no problems so far....but, as with any tube amp....."warm the tubes" prior to gigging.
Value
Good bang for the buck
Manufacturer Support
Had no issues or reason to contact Fender yet.
The Wow Factor
The design is boring
