"KICK&#* BASS VERY AWSOME"

Feature:
This bass is of very good quality and will probably last me a long time. The only problem I had with it is the bridge is not of the best quality I have seen, the bridge on my bass kept winding down. I replaced it with a Leo Quan BADASS II bass bridge, no problems. It stays in tune very well.

Quality:
Very good except small hole, about 2 inches from the bridge.

Value:
Yes.

Desirability:
It is awsome, the finish is very good. Just like a big Stratocaster, very easy to handle, very appealing.

Sound:
It has a very nice clean sound, no buzzing or clicks in the pickups.

Ease of Use:
Very good overall. Some trouble with the bridge but nothing I couldn't fix.

Support:
Have not dealt with them, I doubt I ever will.

Overall:
This is one the most versetile sounding basses around, and would replace anything on it to keep playing it and will play it until it is unrepairable. It works very well for me and the music I play.

"Jazz... oldie but still good(16 yrs)"

Feature:
It's passive. It has all the controls needed. I don't like the tuning keys. They seem to be loose when turning them. It's 16 years old so I'm not too worried about them. Once it's tuned it stays tuned. The neck is fine, easy to move on.

Quality:
The bass seems to be built pretty good. It has some dings on it but like I said, it's a '92. The tuners could be better but no big deal.

Value:
Well mine was cheap because it was used and I bid on it. I haven't had a chance to play a new one but the price of a new one seems fine by me.

Desirability:
I like the shape of the jazz compared to other basses. It's built good and is easy to use. The controls allow me to get the sound I want. The neck feels good, smooth, pretty fast.

Sound:
The bass I have is a '92 jazz. I bought it used off of Ebay. For being an older bass it sounds pretty good. I need to take time and adjust the bridge but I've had it for 3 months now and haven't done a "set up" yet. Originally I got it as a back up for my Ibanez SR500 but now I split time between them. I ended up putting some EB Flats on it and they sound good.

Ease of Use:
The controls enable me to get the sounds I want.

Support:

Overall:
I plan on keeping this bass for a while, at least a year. It's 16 years old so I'll end up getting another bass in time. I like the Standard Jazz. I'm debating on getting another Standard or saving and getting the Highway One. Either way, I'll be getting a jazz. Most likely I'll keep this jazz and trade my Ibanez for another jazz, regardless of model. If you want a nice bass, built good, good feel, and good sound, try a Standard. You may be surprised.
