Sound: Standard pickups sound great. I prefer a fatter sound, thought, so I changed them for a set of Texas specials. It's perfect now. The bridge pickup sounded good. It was very twangy. The bridge pickup was very mellow. For the price, This is a very nice sounding guitar. Like I said, if you want a better sound, just swap the pickups for Texas Specials or Vintage Noisless. Feature: It didn't come with a case, but for the price you can't whine. I love the simplicity of the master volume and tone controls with 3-way switch. The less to mess with the better. I really wanted a 50's Tele, but with the pickup upgrade, it sounds much better with less invested. Quality: Most beutiful guitar I've ever seen at this price! The American Tele's are better made, but not that much better to warrant an increase of $500. The neck is perfectly finnished with even frets. It is very comfortable with rolled edges. Very slim neck and it is so smooth, it feels like glass. The finnish on the body is just as impeccable. Very beutiful,glossy finnish. I honestly feel that you can't get any more bang for your than you can with a Fender guitar. Especially with their standard series. Value: Like I said earlier, you can't get a better guitar for $350 anywhere. I always have and always will believe that Fender makes the absolute best guitars, dollar for dollar, in the world. Manufacturer Support: I haven't had to contact Fender. This guitar is so well made, I don't think you should have any problems with it anyway. Registering the warranty was fast and simple at Fender.com. The Wow Factor: I've always loved Telecasters. They really appeal to me. I like to play classic country and blues. This guitar does it all. I got the blue version, and it looks great. I wouldn't trade or sell this guitar for anything. Overall: I plan to have this guitar forever. It is the overall best guitar deal out there.

Sound: For the dollar, this fender guitar sounds and plays much better than guitars I own that cost two to three times as much. In fact, it plays and sounds so crisp I have two of them. One I upgraded to albino pup with boost for crisp treble leads, and one I left stock to have more tone control from Skynard to SRV, it will play the gambit. Feature: The componets are a little underwound in my opinion, but for the playing neck, action, apperance, and overall cost, you can upgrade for a few hundred dollars and be playing a Tele that costs a grand or better. Ease of Use: Three selections bridge, both, or neck. Very easy to play, blends nicely with line-6, marshall, peavey or fender amps I have played it through. Quality: KEEP THEM BOTH WITH ME FOR DIFFERENT SETS, DON'T NEED ONE FOR A BACK-UP Value: Worth more than it's selling price compared to ANY guitar in it's price range. Manufacturer Support: Knowledge staff, simple answers, few questions, mostly about how color looked in person. The Wow Factor: Telecaster is unique to itself, there is only ONE. Overall: I will wear the frets out before I look elsewhere. I would keep an S-S-H guitar around to catch some specific sounds unto themselves, but for 90% of classic rock, you can rock the place well.
