Offspring of the Jazzmaster, the Jaguar paired brighter pickups with a mellow, short 24 in. scale length. A trio of sliding pickup selector switches, rotary volume wheels on the upper bout, and chrome hardware and tremolo lock, are distinctive Jaguar traits. The wacky and removable Fender Mute is a built-in string-damping device created with surf bands in mind.

Tone variations , ease of playing , and not heavy to bother if playing for a long time
Quality:
For the time , but my BICH outdoes it

For the time it was kind of expensive , but well worth it
Desirability:
I would love to get my hands on another one , but a little too expensive right now

Owned one back in the '60's but made a BIG MISTAKE selling it !!

Neck was ALMOST perfec in width and thickness , and VERY EASY to play

Fender '62 Jaguar Customer Review
Quality:
It's a fender, of course its good quality.
Value:
It is Expensive. But well worth it. The reissue might be good for those of you looking for cheaper. buuut. im a die-hard NIRVANA fan so the origional is a must-have for me.
Desirability:
I dunno I just find the fact that Kurt Cobain desighned it extremly apealing.
Ease of Use:
Well I hav'nt used one but i have used a Jaguar and Mustang. I think the combination of the two was ingenious. It has all the good qualities of both and no disadvantages. It's very comfortable to hold.
Support:
The warrenties and such under Fender are full-proof i've never had a problem.
It's a fender, of course its good quality.
