Fender Classics Series Phaser Pedal

70s era reissue with the looks and sound of a laser beam ready phaser. Modern glow dial to dial in that rate you need.

Our 30-Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee applies on this item. Buy it, and if it isn't just right for you, return it!
Description
“Shift” into high gear with the Fender Phaser, great for both guitar and bass and really super-whoooshy-sounding! Stylishly retro ’70s-era good looks, sure, of course—but you also get efficiently versatile intensity, rate, bypass and frequency controls that let you tailor that ethereal phasing sound to utter perfection. You can easily emphasize treble or bass frequencies, and the big “rate” dial glows blue and red in synch with the phase shift rate, which is really cool and scientific-looking and stuff.

Technical Info

Input Impedance: 470kOhm

Nominal Input Level: –20dBV

Output Impedance: 4.7kOhm

Features
Rate—This knob controls the rate at which the phase shifting occurs. The rate control knob alternately illuminates blue and red at the same rate as the phase shifting.

Intensity—This knob adjusts the intensity of the Phasing effect.

Frequency—This knob adjusts what frequencies are affected by the phasing action. Fully counter-clockwise causes the bass frequencies to be affected most by the phasing action, fully clockwise causes the treble frequencies to be most affected by the phasing action.

Bypass Switch—A “true-bypass” of the phaser effect. Turns the phasing effect on-off.

Output Jack—Connect to the input of your amplifier (or other audio device).

Input jack—Plug your guitar (or other audio source) in here. Un-plug the input plug from this jack to turn off the device and save power (very important) when not in use.

DC Input Jack—Plug in a AC- 9V DC adaptor (see specifications) into this jack to eliminate the need for batteries.

Fender Classics Series Phaser Pedal Reviews

1 Person rated this product :

zZounds had a chance to sit with this product, and review it.
"An "in your face" Phaser"
Feature:
a power adapter would of been nice, but not a deal breaker as it uses a standard 9V, like other popular pedals.

Quality:
Quality is great, feels very sturdy and built like a tank

Value:
yes, this product is worth it's selling price

Desirability:
It's like nothing out there the machine shop look is cool and the glowing lights are super cool

Sound:
I used a Fender Stratocaster and it gave me a natural boost on the high end even though I was using my neck pickup. The extra gain did inherit a bit of noise and that noise was being phased(it's to be expected on phasers). It does have a great intensity and a wickedly fast rate. It was the loudest pedal on my chain.

Ease of Use:
I understand it's based on an old design and I didn't expect it to have too many bells and whistles. But the coolest modern touch is the light.

Support:
n/a

Overall:
the only thing I would replace this with would be a mooger fooger phaser which is has more controls and options but also way more expensive
