A very well made, great quality instrument. This thing is a tone arsenal. Anything you can imagine is in this thing. Having the Active/Passive switch is a great addition especially for good mid scoop in Active. Passive mode has a passive tone sweep that is great for selecting your tone. The p/j combination , in my opinion, is the most versatile and most powerful pickup combination on a bass. To the thunder push of the p and the great jazz growl it just delivers. I walked out of a hard rock gig and two hours later was playing salsa and both crowds loved the look and sound. Truly a masterpiece.
