Introducing the Tuned Reference monitors. Their names tell the whole story: These monitors are precision tuned to provide flat frequency response and uncolored sound, giving you a true sonic reference for mixing.

You might think that this level of mix precision comes at a high price. But thanks to a powerful new ultra-efficient amplifier (actually two of them, since these are biamplified systems), we're able to bring you high definition, non-fatiguing monitoring at prices so low they're downright silly. But don't let the cost fool you: The TR series monitors are filled with time-tested Event technology, and designed by the same engineering team behind our full line of critically acclaimed monitors. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Event products.

Sound: Overall: LIke "User: xxx@nomail.com" my pair of Event TR5's had some sort of ground hum. When I called Event, they where very helpful. They paid for shipping and had the speakers repaired and back to me within 10 days. I was extremely impressed with their customer service. Now my TR5 sound great. Sure, there's a little lacking in the low end but wtf do you expect, from a 5" woofer. Overall, these monitors are a the best in their price range. And most importantly, Event is a company that stands behind their products.

Sound: sounds great to me...sitting here grinning like a kid listening to my mixes plus my favorite CDs! Brings a tear to my eye! Feature: I dig the multiple input options. Right now I'm using RCA, but I may change that at some point as my setup grows. These do what you need em to. Quality: Totally solid. One small blemish on the front (where the ring around the speaker is), but I mean TINY, like the size of a pinhead...not bothering me at all Value: Great stuff for the money... Manufacturer Support: ??? Haven't used them yet, so don't know
