Manufacturer's Description for ESP LTD James Hetfield Truckster Signature Electric Guitar

James Hetfield, one of the founding members of rock icons Metallica, has created his fifth signature guitar model. The Truckster is a new ESP Signature Series guitar that is precisely based on Hetfield's personal custom ESP.

The Truckster offers every minute detail of James ESP, down to the 'aging' of the finish. ESP has done custom guitars for Metallica for over 15 years, and Metallica's guitars have been some of their most popular signature models. ESP is proud to offer the high level of quality James demanded for a guitar with his name attached.

ESP's Truckster is a single-cutaway, solid body electric featuring a distinctive aged gray primer finish over its mahogany body and neck. The unique finish wear is precisely duplicated to match James Hetfield's personal instrument. The Truckster offers a set-neck construction, a 24.75 in. scale, and a rosewood fingerboard that features flag inlays with "LTD" at the 12th fret, and a unique cast aluminum raised logo tops each headstock.

The Truckster puts an active EMG pickup set on board. These are controlled via two volume controls and one tone control, as well as a 3-way toggle (another 3-way toggle in the upper position is inactive, but ESP included it for perfect authenticity with Hetfield's actual instrument).

The guitar's distinctive finish is complemented by satin chrome hardware, including its Sperzel locking tuners, and TonePros locking bridge w/stop tailpiece. White binding on the Truckster's body, neck and headstock and 22 extra-jumbo frets completes the detailed signature model.

Sound: this is the best guitar you can buy period. if you wanna play classic rock through death metal this is your guitar. the pick ups are just outstanding, you can pick this guitar up and just really sound perfect with heavy distortion and with out all the effects it sounds like an eric clapton guitar. the chords are just beatiful. this guitar really stands out. take it from a guy who owns 89 guitars! i have already placed an order for 3 more! Feature: it came with extra strings, volume knobs and manual. no need for extra. Quality: this guitar is perfect the finish of this guitar makes you wanna sleep with it i play an hour a day and i have had no problems with it. Value: this guitar is worth it all Manufacturer Support: i lost the extra volume knob and they replaced free. The Wow Factor: really cool looking with desin Overall: this the best guitar ever made and i know the best guitars.

"LOVIN IT"
Sound: 2 words 81 and 60 Feature: locking tuners and amg's, cool lookin also, but if your not into that style, its not for you Ease of Use: the sound is awsome, plug it in and let er rip, Uber Quality: I've gad if for about a year not one problem yet, and i play it for atleast 2 hours everyday Value: its awsome, but the fact is, you can buy a ec-500 or 400 for less and get the same stuff, you pau that extra few hundred for the color purty much. Manufacturer Support: Never beeded support.... The Wow Factor: UBER garage look that looks got playin any type of music Overall: It's is a great guitar, but you can get the exact same for a few hundred bucjs cheaper with... lets say EC-500 or EC-400. If the paint job isn't appealing to you, get the other one.
