Description
The ESP SA2 Richie Sambora is the latest addition to ESPs long line of artist endorsed models. Richie Sambora and his long-time associate and expert luthier Chris Hofschneider designed the guitar. The SA2 features a comfortable basswood body with a fast maple neck and a rosewood fretwood. The LH100 pickups produce that tone that is so well known on hit records around the world. "Good imitation for the money"
Feature:
ESP could have included specific Sambora Signature Series material for this paticular guitar. Instead, you just get a generic owners manual that covers all of their guitars/basses.
Quality:
Be prepared to buy new strings. Right out of the box, B & E string will break at slight tension. Also, something in the headstock vibrates when playing the lower strings. Could be the tuners.
Value:
It's made in China to keep the cost down.
Ease of Use:
Good Playability. Fast Action up and down the neck.
Overall:
Good imitation of the real Sambora Speedloader, for the 500 bucks.

"nice style bad sound"
Feature:
the brige pick up is rubish if you buy one it will have to change it for a dimazzo PAF
Quality:
on arival the vol knob was lose and the brige pick up has a bad feed back problem strings snap on fist tunning the set up was very bad too very dissiponted
Value:
if the pick ups were better the yes but sadly no it not
Desirability:
it amazing to look at very cool design
Sound:
with the orignal pick ups dont expect much but i do like that you can turn the vol down and not lose any tone or trebal thas rare in my exp

as good as my trusty fender strat very happy with it

no i havent needed to done the work my self
Overall:
a nice looking guitar with a big problem (sound) replace the pick ups on the brige and it will be somthing you be playing for years but if you want to sound like riche sambora then it will be woth it or get a krammer strat or fender strat sig modals
