"Metal monster at a small price"

Feature:
The most useful features are the great pickups. The grover tuners are great. I think the selection is perfect. I also like how its a non tremo. I dont like floyd rose cause it screws up your guitar and I hate the ugly bridge.

Quality:
Quality is great. No blemishes or anything. I just orderd it a week ago from zzounds and just got it today. Just to let u kno the guitar in the picture is an older version. The guitar looks black and has white binding. If u wanna see how your guitar will look go to the esp site. Thats the exact guitar they send you. I was worryd I was going to get the older version because of the picture and the specs said it had natural binding and the new one has white binding. But I just got the guitar today from zzounds and its the up to date version on the esp site. The guitar also looks better in person. I went on the installement plan which is awesome cause I couldnt afford this baby all at once. I reccomend using the plan if you dont have all the cash.

Value:
Great value for the price. If its way out of your price range I say its worth it. If u wanna spend more go for a deluxe version of an ltd.

Desirability:
I think it appeals to all metal players. When I played it in the store I knew I wanted it.

Sound:
Product sounds great. Made for metal. Emg pickups are great. Althogh i use it on a crappy peavy amp thats why I gave the sound a 8.

Ease of Use:
Very playable. Really fast action. I reccomend it highly.

Support:
Havent used support yet.

"One word... GORGEOUS GUITAR"

Feature:
The grover tuners work great, and the 3-way selector switch operates very smoothly.

Quality:
I noticed a few minor blemishes when I got the guitar. The inlay at the 20th fret has a small chip in it, and the edges are a little sloppy where the wood meets the binding. Other than that its a beautiful guitar.

Value:
great value for a mid-grade guitar. The EMG's and the quilted maple body are top notch.

Desirability:
The picture on the site makes it look really bad, but when I opened the box I couldnt believe how gorgeous the guitar was. And to my suprise, instead of natural binding on the body, it came with white binding, which Im happy it did, because I didnt like the natural binding.

Sound:
The EMG 81/85 pickups are incredible. Ill never go back to passive pickups.

Ease of Use:
Extremely easy to play on, the pinch harmonics just flow out of this thing.

Support:
My guitar was backored, and Esp took FOREVER to fulfill their order, I had to wait over 2 months for my guitar to finally ship.

Overall:
I definitely plan to keep this guitar for a long time. As for adding anything? It doesnt need a thing.

About This Product!
Description
Docs
The upscale MH400NT is absolutely packed with features. For starters, this is a set neck instrument with a quilted maple top and EMG humbuckers. Killer, right? Well there's more. The NT is built with the innovative Earvana Compensated Nut for more exact intonation and tuning across the neck. Its Set-Thru neck joint gives you the look and feel of a neck-thru design, with the warmth and true wood tone of a set neck. It's glassy-smooth and extremely comfortable. Other features include that awesome quilted top, a mahogany body, a 3-piece maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (XJ frets), a Tune-o-matic bridge with string-thru-body, black hardware including Grover tuners, and cool, offset neck inlays. It's a lot of guitar for the money.

Grover Tuners
High-quality Grover tuning machines are well known for their precise gear ratio, tuning stability and durability. They make a great complement to the other upscale features of ESP's 400-level instruments.

Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action? truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.

EMG Pickups
There truly is no comparison between active EMG's and conventional pickups. EMG's frequency response is shaped much differently. Conventional pickups typically exhibit a dry "peaky" frequency response, while EMG's have a much broader bandwidth that's better for harmonic pull-offs and chord definition. Individual notes have better presence and are dynamic. Playing styles are more pronounced and different techniques can be easily accommodated.
