"****in rocks!!!"

Feature:
Hands down the best features...EMGs shred, FR rocks-- never goes out of tune. Easy to shred on the thin neck.

Quality:
NO cosmetic blemishes, phenomenal STBlue finish.--shines like chrome. No loose parts, and the fit is amazing, no adjustments made at this point.Action is low, makes guitar easy to use.

Value:
Simply ( although) it has been said many times...the cant beat the value for this guitar....it has everything a metal head/ any rock guitarist could want. This guitar simply delivers.

Desirability:
Very nice to look at...begs for you to shred on it.

Sound:
Sounds amazing.... EMG 81/85 are simply the best and also the noise reduction feature is very nice. I use a Marshall Pre-amp Valvestate 2000- AVT 20 and running a Digitech Rp200 FX pedal through it. Sounds like a easily 1000 dollar value for a lot cheaper.

Ease of Use:
I gave it a nine because the volume knob is too close to the pickups and sometimes thevolume gets turned down when you solo up to the high notes or palm mute quickly. Besides that,it is very easy and extremely fun to play on.

Support:
Havent had to use this yet...just got it for x-mas.

Overall:
I know i will be keeping this for a very long time, as long as it holds up, i dont plan on ever getting another guitar, and even if i do, i know i will go with ESP---go with ESP or LTDs and you wont be disappointed!

Feature:
all the relevant allen keys, springs etc were included. one volume, one tone knob. 3 way selector. what more can you ask for? i personally wish i had bought the nt (no trem) version of this guitar since i feel floyd roses are way too much hastle.

Quality:
its a really nice looking guitar. it has broken a few times due to my own stupidity but its nothing that wouldnt happen on the road. i would not gig without a backup. period. this guitar should last me for a gd few years simply because i dont gig any more. on the road ...i dread to think how it would hold up.

Value:
in the uk you get ripped off big style buying guitars. i paid about 200 quid more than this guitar is worth. if you are into this style of guitar check out what schecter or any other company has to offer before buying.

Desirability:
when i saw this guitar i just had to have it, but with a little more experience under my belt, i know esp does not offer anything that cannot be got from another company for much cheaper. im sorry but thats just how it is. now i have the guitar, do i regret buying it? of course not, ive written some of my best material on this guitar so of course i love it. i just wish i didnt pay so much for it is all.

Sound:
sounds good, especially since it has that big quilted maple cap. sustains forever though the emgs probably have a lot to do with that. the 81 in the bridge is brilliant for metallica, megadeth...any metal band's sound really can be covered and sound good. the 85 has a smoother sound and is great for noodling. the only problem with the emgs is that they lack definition slightly. the tone knob can really help you round out the sound, so u can get from a high gain crunch to more smooth tones when played clean. it covers a lot of bases tonally.

Ease of Use:
what sold me on this guitar was its playability. it just has the nicest neck and action i have ever played. pinch harmonics fly out of it. its a great metal guitar.

Support:
whenever the guitar broke the guys at dawsons fixed it under the warranty. no problems

Overall:
if i was to lose this guitar i probably would get the nt model, as i said, i hate floyds. failing that i would get a schecter revenger or c1. i am much more open minded these days as to what other companies can offer. but yeh, if i was given the insurance money to get a guitar id probably go with the nt model of the mh 400. simply because i have so many fond memories of it.

News
The upscale MH400 is absolutely packed with features. For starters, this is a set neck instrument with a quilted maple top and EMG humbuckers. Killer, right? Well there's more. The MH400 is built with a Floyd Rose licensed tremolo bridge and its Set-Thru neck joint gives you the look and feel of a neck-thru design, with the warmth and true wood tone of a set neck. It's glassy-smooth and extremely comfortable. Other features include that awesome quilted top, a mahogany body, a 3-piece maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard (XJ frets), black hardware including Grover tuners, and cool, offset neck inlays. It's a lot of guitar for the money.

Grover Tuners
High-quality Grover tuning machines are well known for their precise gear ratio, tuning stability and durability. They make a great complement to the other upscale features of ESP's 400-level instruments.

Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action' truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.

EMG Pickups
There truly is no comparison between active EMG's and conventional pickups. EMG's frequency response is shaped much differently. Conventional pickups typically exhibit a dry "peaky" frequency response, while EMG's have a much broader bandwidth that's better for harmonic pull-offs and chord definition. Individual notes have better presence and are dynamic. Playing styles are more pronounced and different techniques can be easily accommodated.
