With a gorgeous quilted maple top, the ESP H-1001FR LTD Deluxe Floyd Rose Electric Guitar not only rocks but looks great at it too. The ESP H1001FR features a 24.75 inch single cutaway body style made of strong mahogany, rosewood fingerboard, black nickel hardware, and ESP tuners. Guitar players love the EMG 81 and 60 pickups for their wide range of sound - from sweet warm tones to raw rock 'n' roll. The EC1000FR is an impressive guitar that you won't want to stop playing.

The H-1001FR, available in See-Through Black Cherry over quilted maple, includes a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. The thin U-shaped neck with 24 extra jumbo frets provides comfort and speed. An EMG 81 pickup at the bridge and an 85 at the neck provide plenty of power and note definition. Grover tuners and a string-thru-body bridge keep you tuned and intonated, so you'll sound your best. Volume, tone and a 3-way toggle give you options with simplicity. Black hardware, offset abalone block inlays and white with abalone purfling finish off a great look.

Set-thru neck construction is an innovative technique in which the neck is glued to the body (like a set neck), however the traditional bulky heel is carved away (similar to neck-thru-body construction). This makes access to the LTD H1001FR's upper frets and the neck-to-body transition much smoother. Just as on a set neck, you will get a combination of tone from both the neck and body with the set-thru construction. The sound will depend on the types of wood used, but generally will have a fuller, warmer tone when compared to most neck-thru-body guitars.
