"ESP has done it right"

Feature:
All the included hardware is solid. The EMG81's are absolutely sick for shredding.

Quality:
Awesome high quality finish, beautiful inlays, and its just plain sexy.

Value:
Can't beat it. The hardware on this thing almost adds up to the price, let alone the cost of the body.

Desirability:
Its ultra sexy. It screams guitar god.

Sound:
The EMG81's are truly devastating. It plays quick, sustains forever. The tone is just amazing. I've played a lot of guitars, but this one for the money blows away everyone. I just dont see how anyone could spend thousands more. Its an awesome deal.

Support:
Dont know, no problems with my guitar. So I would say the support is great because the hardware is so good you don't need any.

Overall:
Theres no comparison, this is the guitar to have for the money.

"Yup, Pretty nice"

Feature:
I too think that it needs a fourth knob, because I am always playing different kinds of music, so I am always looking for different sounds to come out of one guitar. and for the EMG pickups, I think they are great. I have a bass at home and I changed to EMG's because of their sound. I also play it through a MESA BOOGIE caband I think that even though it is simul state it sounds awsome. even if i shut off the parametric EQ.

Quality:
from the looks of it on every website that I saw it on, it looks like it would be a toy, and not an instrument. But when I played it today, I got very excited about how solid it is. I would believe that it would take a lickin and keep on tickin

Value:
I think that it is great for the price, but it needs that extra knob and maybe fifty bucks cheaper

Desirability:
All I can say is I would be more excited to have that on my lap other than a hottie stripper at the nearest hollywood club

Sound:
I have been doing a lot of research on the guitar and I finally got to touch one today. (even though I had to drive an hour away) I thought that it sounded great. I am going to buy it very very soon. the only thing that sucked about it was the strings that come on it, they felt like super slinkies or something, and personally I think ernieball strings suck, but with the right strings I feel this guitar will sound beautifull.

Support:
???????????????????????? never had to deal with them

Overall:
I think that this would be used for years to come in my personal studio.

From Our Catalog
Man, is it a great time to be in the market for a new guitar! When you can get quality and features like the EC400 offers - at this sick, low price, you must be livin' right or somethin'. The ATS is a set-neck guitar with active EMG-81 humbuckers, plus Grover tuners and the awesome Earvana Compensated Nut for incredible tuning accuracy. ESP builds this guitar with a mahogany body, a 3-piece mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard with 22 XJ frets and a Tune-o-matic bridge with a stop tailpiece. It's a classic design with all the updates already done for 'ya!

Grover Tuners
High-quality Grover tuning machines are well known for their precise gear ratio, tuning stability and durability. They make a great complement to the other upscale features of ESP's 400-level instruments.

Double Action Truss Rods
All ESP/LTD guitars and basses feature a 'double-action' truss rod design. Unlike a normal (single) truss rod, this one is adjustable in two different directions. This means that you'll never run into a situation where the neck has 'run out of adjustment'. Regardless of which ESP model you choose, you'll get years and years of playing enjoyment.

EMG Pickups
There truly is no comparison between active EMG's and conventional pickups. EMG's frequency response is shaped much differently. Conventional pickups typically exhibit a dry "peaky" frequency response, while EMG's have a much broader bandwidth that's better for harmonic pull-offs and chord definition. Individual notes have better presence and are dynamic. Playing styles are more pronounced and different techniques can be easily accommodated.

The pickup designs used by the guitar companies are simply old technology. They are easy to design and inexpensive to produce, so there isn't any incentive to improve them. The problem for the player is that those pickups are as outmoded as black and white TV. Until you've experienced playing an EMG equipped instrument, you'll never know how great your playing can be. By using an integrated preamp it
