Overview
Guitar Lab's innovative learning systems employ a hands-on approach where students "play" their way through the curriculum using learning tools such as PIP video, practice rhythm tracks, and interactive tab and notation, which allows the student to play along with the tab and notation, at any tempo, without change in pitch.
This course assumes that you are a guitar player and compares the neck of the ukulele to the neck of the guitar. All of the time you've spent learning to play the guitar will help you here. If you are not a guitar player, you're still in the right place. Learn the ukulele chords one at a time. Repeat the lessons as many times as it takes for you to feel comfortable before moving on to the next lesson. This approach will save you a lot of time.
The interactive video format of the course is the second reason your uke journey should start here -- you will play your way through the course, interacting with Marcy as if she were right in front of you. Marcy will demonstrate a key learning and then you put that key learning immediately to work by joining her on a video playalong. No boring exercises. No tedious theory. No reading. No complicated charts.
