15 in. woofer. 350 watt dynamic LF, 80 watt dynamic HF power amplifiers. Mic and line inputs.

The SxA250 sets a new standard for powered speakers. Its design provides the user multiple inputs with mix capability, an easy to use EQ section, and plenty of power in a very compact, attractive package. This is a full range loudspeaker ideal for applications requiring high-quality sound. Careful attention to the dynamic requirements of music guided the amplifier design to provide high SPL. The high quality microphone preamplifier provides great sounding vocals or speech. A master level control sets the desired SPL, and the line input can be mixed and balanced with a microphone with its level control. Its linear response is easily optimized for speech or music with the on board multiband equalization. Built-in pole mount and optional rigging hardware make it easy to position for your application. The high-frequency section of the SxA250 utilizes a molded-in, 80 x 55 degree constant-directivity horn. This unique pattern contributes to high intelligibility. Vocals sound natural yet cut through reverberant, noisy rooms. Coverage pattern is uniform and sound quality off-axis is very well maintained, even at 40 off axis (an 80 total coverage angle). The SxA250 s high-frequency horn is driven by the DH2010A, a 1.25 inch diaphragm, wide-bandwidth, titanium-diaphragm driver using a unique, convex-drive TimePath phasing plug structure (U.S. Patent #4,525,604) for smooth and extended high-frequency response.

"its awesome speaker and you can never go wrong with them."

Overall: 5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
I will continue to use these speakers, i owned previously a pair of powered QSC's and the next day i exchanged them. QSC makes good amps but not the cabinets
Sound
I have had a pair of these speakers for the past 3 years, havent had the issues others have had, the mids and highs are clear compared to the Mackies that I also own. At the same time they kick some low's compared that the Mackie sounds like if its pounding a clap. I also added the powered 18's to my Ev's and i can do a gig up to 500 and still be jamming. The mackies are more for small gigs.
Features
The eq is a plus , and you dont have to put the gain all the way. You can leave it half way and still jam. The mackie only has the kill to the lows. Comparing both your talking 2 different styles but both are in the top of the food chain, Now if you talk JBL and Peavey then they need some work.
Ease of Use
Just plug and play plus they speakers half both a 1/4 and xlr plus a added microphone connection, compared to the other competitors they have no room
Quality
top of the line,
Value
There a bit pricey but like they say you get what you pay for. Its a high quality speaker so when your doing an event you dont have to worry about amps heating up or distortion.
Manufacturer Support
havent had an issue to call customer support till this day. Plus the warranty is for 6 years.
The Wow Factor
its a different look from other manufacturers, its well desing and sleek as well as you can position it in any angle.
