Drum Workshop SM2141 Bass Drum Claw Mount is unlike any bass drum claw mount in the market today. The SM2141 comes with an innovative hoop clamping mechanism with the patented V clamp and a 9.5 to 1/2 inch L rod with memory lock. The clamp sandwiches both the aluminum flesh hoop and the wood of the bass. This gives you the strength of both the flesh hoop and the bass itself. the SM2141 Bass Drum Claw Mount tightens with a drum key. This is different from most bass claw hoops and will accept most any product on market with it wide range of 9.5 to 1/2 inch.
