The Dunlop Uni-Vibe incorporates the original Uni-Vibe circuit design utilizing hand matched photo-resistors, a long-life incandescent lamp, and custom engineered light housing to ensure the sonic integrity of the unit. The durable brushed stainless steel housing is designed to protect the control knobs against accidental bumping during play.

With the Uni-Vibe's renowned chorus and vibrato modes you'll find yourself playing a lot of new things from sheer inspiration. The Chorus sound is thick, phasey, and a lot like a rotating speaker while the Vibrato sound bends the pitch up and down, giving a cool quivering texture to your sound. In either mode, the speed, volume, and intensity knobs let you twist and turn your sound into a new dimension.
Note: The Uni-Vibe functions without the optional UV-1FC controller pedal with its own built-in speed control. The UV-1 comes complete with the Dunlop ECB04 AC Adapter.

"One of the "must-own" guitar effects"
Whether or not you want to channel Jim Hendrix, you should have the Dunlop Uni-vibe in your effects chain. Put all your distortion and fuzz pedals in front of the Uni-vibe, and listen to what comes out! Creamy, smooth, swirly plasma! Gotta love it. I believe its actually one of the best value pedals given what you get. I would like to see the price of the expression pedal come down, because frankly, $80 for an expression pedal is a bit much, especially when you've already shelled out $200 for the Uni-vibe itself. One day, I'll save enough pennies for the expression pedal too!

"Expensive but worth it"
Feature:
Well, it has two sonic features -- chorus and vibrato. It does its job and sounds great; what more do you want in a pedal? Nice bonus: AC adapter is included.
Quality:
Feels like a brick. It's made of steel. You get the sense that you could beat it with a sledgehammer.
Sound:
Rich, creamy chorus and smooth vibrato. Absolutely silent compared to my Small Clone, and about a thousand times better than the software vibrato/chorus in Logic. I play Les Pauls through various Fender tube amps and occasionally record DI. Sounds great in every configuration, but especially with those gorgeous Fender clean channels.
Ease of Use:
Three knobs, a chorus/vibrato footswitch, and a (silent) bypass switch. It takes minimal experimentation to dial up a nice tone. One-page manual, but you don't need it.
