Dean V Inferno Electric Guitar (with Case)

24 3/4 in. scale. Includes hardshell case.

Who says you can't play with fire. Dean created a guitar with a real eye-popping blue fame design. The motif goes from the body up through the neck.

The Dean V Inferno has both a mahogany body and set-in neck that provide long sustain. A 22-fret rosewood fingerboard complements fast players. Pearl flame inlays with matching Dean humbucker covers continue the look. The guitar has a tune-o-matic bridge and a string-thru body which maintains correct intonation and allows for easy action adjustment. Grover tuners and chrome hardware provide the final finish for an already hot guitar.

i will keep her and when burned out i will buy another dean V. Thats how much i like her! For v style guitar Dean is one of a kind, i feel as though i was lucky to get this guitar for a good price. I am happy with the sound and look. I think the dean black and white gold guitars are nice too. I chose this one because i found it on sale and it had a case. Geez! give a guitarist a case every now and then. I always have to buy those seperate!

Sound
Has great sound and i usually use seymour duncans and when compared they are almost identical in sound, the only reson i did not give a 10 is they are stock pickups but sound perfect for metal or anything else and can get any sound you want. this guitar was made for rock and metal players. the pickups look really striking as they are etched flames in the metal. And the inlays look so neat, better than the photos show. It has a very thin neck and is not neck heavy.

Features
love the fact they gave a nice case, this is almost unheard of these days. materials for this guitar look and sound great it has a set in neck and is a very solid guitar. Dean make killer v style guitars. the knobs and pickup covers are a nickel or look like nickel hardware on mine. good components all around.

Ease of Use
Sound wise , oh yeah! it screams if you play metal or rock. I dont think i will change these humbucker pickups. They are actually very good, I also play read more with duncans on my ec-1000 and it sounds as good as that guitar through a Spider-3 2X12 with pedals i use for overdrive and compression. the neck is very easy and fun to play and grovers are always fine, light and smooth. Easy to modify sounds from blues to rock. easy string change, holds its tune well, I always loved v style guitars and i am getting use to holding it on my knee, All v users say you get use to it. I see their point, It is just different than holding the guitar in more toward the body . But i have had no problems with fatigue. I really found a great deal with this guitar i shopped and bought it for 599.95 and love the look and feel, its a true Dean and looks just too cool and the blue flames just seem to jump out and say play me!!. I may go for another Dean v someday. My first wings! I am happy with her!

Quality
made very strong, light and thin neck! finsh is , look at this thing! no loose parts. it is a road worthy guitar . looks tough and has a nice thick, light body.

Value
price for me was smaller and i shopped around. I would say it is slightly pricey but it looks really neat and i have to think the case and those inlays were the reason. I think 5 to 6 hundred is ok but 750.00 is up there. Guitars with quality are really pricey these days. I would never sell or send it back though!

Manufacturer Support
Dean is always cool, I have contacted them before to ask questions about their v styles and they were totally quick, and very polite. Told me to have fun when i get it!!

The Wow Factor
it is really neat looking, brighter than the pics, the blue is a cool color and they stand out. It has flame inlays and that touch alone was just flat out awesome! I usually play guitars that are fairly classic in color but i like the way dean makes guitars with graphics. I play this one more than my EC and other similar guitars. this is my first Dean. I have not put it down for over a month.
