"Be a performer with a Dean Performer!"

Feature:
This guitar had everything I needed to play acoustic in a performing environment where the guitar needed to be amped. Our group at church runs our acoustics through direct input boxes straight to the board. This guitar sounds crystal clear. Dean guitars are a great value. Let me explain that "great value" does not mean "cheap". This is a well put together guitar; electronics, nice deep cutaway, very attractive finish and rosette inlay, and unique bridge. The only things I have replaced is the plastic saddle and bridge pins to a bone saddle and wood bridge pins.

Quality:
Very well put together guitar. I was upgrading to an A/E from my previous Dean acoustic. I looked at Dean's exclusively because of my satisfaction with my previous Dean acoustic.

Value:
All Deans are great values. Lots of bang for your buck.

Desirability:
Very cool styling. One of the things I've always liked about Deans is their unique styling. They offer a product very different from the competition that is priced well enough to make you take a look. Sound is the ultimate reason you buy a guitar; but face it, you want it to look cool too!

Sound:
By nature of its thinner body style, this is a very treble-y sounding guitar. However, with the EQ sliders, you can really crank a nice bass sound when using this with an acoustic amp. It does have a nice projection. It has a "select spruce" top which doesn't mean "solid spruce", so I'm no wood expert and don't know how much of a difference that makes!

Support:
I have never dealt with Dean on any issues with this guitar. I did registed my warrantly online. They have a great website. The photos of the "Dean Girls" are quite outstanding!

Overall:
Should I have a need for another acoustic/electric or want to upgrade this one...I'll look at Deans first.
