Dean Dimebag Black Bolt Electric Guitar

No longer available at zZounds
This electric guitar features the Dimebag body style on a Mahogany body with a Blade bridge pickup for tones just as shocking as the lightning finish.

Most guitars can't hang with truly great players. Dean's Dimebag Black Bolt guitar isn't one of them. Featuring the Dimebag body style on a mahogany body, the Black Bolt features a string-thru bridge for massive sustain, and a Blade bridge pickup for just the right amount of heavyness. Plus what kind of guitar comes with a shocking of a finish as this? None.

I own a Dean From Hell and was looking to get a set-bridge guitar for quick & easy alternate tunings & whatnot. I was looking at Les Paul's since my other Guitar Idol (Jimmy Page) used it. But then I remembered that Dean made some set-bridge Dimebag guitars that would be a perfect sister & could get more use from my hardshell ML case.
Sound
It's got that Dimebag sound. Obviously, you can't do those Dimebag squeals on this but it's certainly got enough crunch to sound like Dimebag.
Features
For me, the most useful feature would be the ability to change between tunings like no big deal.
Ease of Use
It's very playable. It just feels right. Although, getting used to a bolt neck will take a lil time.
Quality
It's very well made for the price. Can't find anything wrong with it and it looks fantastic. Makes me wish I had started off with a Dean instead of those cheap feeling Epiphone Strat's.
Value
This product is a bargain compared to other entry-level guitars like an Epiphone.
The Wow Factor
It's got plenty of wow. It looks badass hanging next to the Dean From Hell.
