"Dean guitars have great quality in sound and workmanship.I'll buy another. It is as good as any ranging from $300.00 to $900.00 ("
Feature:
it came with a DEAN drednaught case .hard shell and very rugged proud to be sporting the Dean logo on the outside of the case. the spruce and mahogany chosen are beautiful.excellent finish .

Quality:
for a basic inexpensive guitar AK48 is a great pitch perfect sounding instrument . as I said above in the other comments I am extremley please and amazed at the clearness and resonence of this instrument.perfect for the music I play. lots of folk and ballads (( old fogie stuff.... deffinatley not Dime Bag music)) I am very proud to say I own a Dean.

Value:
yes...equal to many of the guitar manufactures

Desirability:
a proud addition to my guitar ownership.extremley clean and neat looking appearance

Sound:
the high and low E's ring true and they resinate evenly .You get a sence that you are playing a much more expensive instrument, from the sound quality. The fret board is very true in pitch all the way up the frets. so if you capo it is "" right on""oh! one more thing... it is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship..the woods that have been chosen compliment themselves,to a rich full sound

Ease of Use:
being an acoustical guitar ((no electronics)) it is very easy and a pleasing sound.

Support:
no problems with the local representitives..great informative guys.

Overall:
prehaps if I take good care of it I'll use it for many years to come.....if stolen or broken , I maybe would upgrade to a better Dean guitar. I like the product.

"THE DEAN AK48, THE BEST GUITAR EVER..... OR SO U THINK"
Feature:
i rate it a 6 because when i got mine they forgot the pickgard, witch sucks, but i delt with it. it came with a gig bag, tuning accessories and a manual and some picks. I REALLY WISH I HAD A PICKGUARD. i used everything they gave me, and everything they gave me really helped.

Quality:
it is defidently not the most reliable guitar, in the first 2 weeks i had it i already had about 5 minor scrathes. this is not an on the road guitar and is more of a guitar to learn on and practice on. eventhough it get scrathed really easily it will last a long time, i belive.

Value:
i personally think if your one of those people that wants to use it in gigs and stuff, it is worth it because you guys keep good care of stuff. But for us that are just using it for practice, i think it should be lowered in price, not alot, just a little.

Desirability:
at first sight your like "awww, oooooooh, awwww", because it looks like a great guitar, its is made greatly it is a surdy instrument

Sound:
it has a BEAutiful sound, i love it, you can really depend on the sound to stay the same and not get screwwed up, the stuff im playing, witch is gospel/christian/and modern rock, works great with it,it really is just a great sounding guitar

Support:
i havent needed support yet, and if i did they would probably help me as much as they can.

Overall:
the guitar is a great guitar overall, almost anyone would be satisfied, i dont think im going to look for another guitar for another atleast 3-4 years.
