The main difference between the Heavy Blues and the other Virtual Vintage¬ models is less in terms of tone than power it's more intense. High notes are fatter, and lows have more kick. You can install the Heavy Blues in all 3 pickup positions, but they've also found that a Blues in the neck position, a Vintage in the middle and a Heavy Blues in the bridge spot will create a very neat combination of warm neck, fat bridge, and bright 2 and 4 notch position sounds.
Recommended for bridge position, but can be used in neck and middle with hotter bridge models like the Virtual Vintage Solo, Chopper, or Pro Track.
