This is typically a purchase directly from the vendor, who may have used the product at a training session or at a trade show, but this may also be a refurbished product. This inventory includes all parts, components, manuals (hard copy or downloadable) and the full factory warranty. It is guaranteed to work perfectly, but it may have a cosmetic blemish. It may be less attractive than Warehouse or Factory Resealed inventory, but it's priced even lower! This inventory is a great value.

"Good for a first multi-effects pedal."

Feature:
Hmm, the chromatic tuner jumps all over the place, so i usually just unplug and use a $20 tuner. The drum machine's samples are horrible, and the beats aren't even relevant to any genre of modern music.

Quality:
You can adjust the expression pedal's resistance, which is nice. But the whole thing is made of plastic, and looks really ugly and gross (though why I liked it when i bought I dont know).

Value:
Hmmm, well considering the BOSS GT-8 is like 6 or 7 times as expensive as this, this thing should have at least 7 times less features, which it doesnt.

Desirability:
Can you see the picture?

Sound:
The sound is good, except there are hardly any amp models and you can't really do 11 or so effects like it says, you can't do flanger, rotary, wah, and tremelo all at once (though why you would I don't know).

Ease of Use:
It's easy to learn, but the buttons are really flat, and it is hard to press them, especially if you are standing. And when using the expression pedal, it's so small sometimes I would slip off and switch patches by accident.

Support:
Never had to phone them, or wanted to.

Overall:
It was pretty good. I used the same patch from the day I got it until I sold it. I'm planning on moving to a BOSS GT-8, and my infatuition with it probably made me more negative about this product on the ratings, sorry.

Quality:

Value:

Desirability:
it kicks ass

Sound:
Pretty good cant get death metal distortion but you can get just about everything else.

Support:
Weak they said it would get ASIO support and 24 bit recording. Now they say it won't. I hate Liars!

Overall:
love everything except for the fact that digitech gave up on giving us 24bit recording and ASIO drivers

Think of it as the ultimate floor processor with direct XLR speaker compensated outs to run to your PA, and a USB recording interface with all of the ins and outs you'll ever need.

Digitech's new RPx400 is the first modeling floor processor with true 2-way computer connectivity and extra I/O to handle vocals, other instruments and monitoring. With everything you need to record (including a kick-ass floor processor), this is truly digital recording designed by guitarists for guitarists.

On stage you can have the best of both worlds by using the separate 1/4 in. and XLR outputs to send their sound to the amplifier or the PA, using DigiTech's award-winning cabinet modeling. When you are ready to record, all of your tone is ready to stream directly into the PC. But it doesn't stop there; you can also record vocals using the built-in mic-pre amp. Or, use the stereo line level inputs to record any instrument -- just plug and play.

For a limited time Digitech is also including new recording software, designed by Cakewalk® and DigiTech, getting you on your way to recording and burning your next hit CD.

The addition of separate speaker-compensated stereo XLR outputs and 1/4 in. outputs lets you send stereo effects incorporating amp-cabinet modeling compensated for a full-range PA system, while sending the same effects without compensation to the player's guitar amp.

The RPx400 is the first modeling effects processor to allow seamless transition for guitarists between live performance and recording applications. The USB computer interface simultaneously streams four processed and unprocessed guitar, microphone and line level signals to the computer for recording, while receiving a stereo mix back from the computer. Primary recording functions such as arming of tracks, execution of record, play, stop commands are controlled by pedals on the processor, providing hands-free operation, allowing the musician to concentrate of the performance.

The RPx400 hosts a full compliment of inputs and outputs, elimination the need for an external mixer or audio interface. In addition to the guitar input, the RPx400 includes an XLR microphone input with level control and stereo line inputs to allow simultaneous processing and streaming of acoustic and line-level sources as well as guitar. A stereo 'Jam-along' input lets you connect a CD player, cassette or MP3 player to the RPx400 for practice and jamming. Four XLR analog outs let you send different signals to your guitar amp and PA simultaneously. A stereo headphone jack allows you to monitor from the RPx400 during recording or practice using headphones.

The RPx400 includes 3 pedals and an expression pedal that control the effects and sends messages to a connected computer via USB. On-board rhythm programmer with 30 patterns and adjustable tempo, and a digital guitar tuner round out the features.
