"this ones a keeper cant beleive how far cate came with this one"

Value:
this amp is the best buy ive found, does it all and does it well

Sound:
this amp kicks and rivels the sound of all tube amps for depth and quality. the effects are great, and the power of such a small unit is amazing easily matching my half stack.

Ease of Use:
my only drawback is the writing on the controles is small and my eyesight is not so good but thats not the amps falt

"Be Smart---Buy a Crate Today!"

Quality:
There were a few little "dings" on the plastic parts, and the built-in tuner on the top could be a little bigger, but otherwise, the quality is very good.

Value:
Excellent value is given.

Sound:
The range and quality of the reverb settings are superb. The "doubler" and the "inverted wah-wah" are somewhat weak, and a dedicated FX pedal (e.g., a Line 6 PODxT) would be better for some of the other FX, but overall the quality and range of the FX are quite good. The sound of the amp is great. I've played it a number of times using a Stratocaster (Squier) and a Schecter Diamond Series (C-1) plus a PRS, and the warmth, dynamic range, and flexibility of sounds make this an excellent choice for the semi-pro or professional player who does small-to-medium-sized gigs. I also own a Crate GTX212, and this one surpasses the GTX212 in terms of the dynamic range and the "warmth" of its tone. Crate makes a fine amp and for the price it's quite a good value.

Overall:
I'm saving my pennies for this unit. The quality, the range of features, and the ease of use make this an excellent choice for the serious musician who isn't tied up with the need for a "prestige" name brand. Why pay more and get less? That's just plain stupid. Why not get an outstanding value that will last and last and give you all the features that any sensible musician could want? That's just plain smart! So get a Crate today!

The new VTX Series combines great sounding analog combos with total control over the DSP section and with vintage styling. These amps were designed for the player who is into the vibe and styling of the V-Series, but wants up to a 3-channel analog amp with "tweakable" digital effects and the ability to program up to 6 effects in the 3 channels.

The VTX200S is a great sounding stereo combo amp with total control over the DSP section and vintage styling.

The effect section is designed to take advantage of the stereo power section and 2 speakers to give a huge, spacious sound to your tone. Crate has created special stereo versions of many of the most popular effects on the VTX models. These effects add drama with incredible clarity and tone.

The VTX200S is destined to become the new standard in a powerful 2 x 12 in. stereo combo for the true tone connoisseur.
