About This Product!

Description

As a compact head, the GX1200H produces 120 watts RMS and features Crate's patented FlexWave tube simulating preamp and award winning engineering. This head includes 3-channel operation for a triad of extreme tone opportunities, as well as reverb and an effects loop.

Player Type: At just 25 lbs., the compact GX1200 is easy to transport. Plus, with 120 watts RMS of solid tone and reliability, it can easily be used by semi-pro/pro players for band rehearsal or medium to large venues.

Feature:
The two gain controls are sweet! -easy to use and sound GREAT with the Behringer BG412S cab....I just wish it had a chorus so I could give it a rating of eleven.

Quality:
I bought mine with a blemish (hey, save a hunderd bucks)But over all I would say that it is a good looking head that leaves room for some other stuff on top of my cab...ie: wireless receiver and tuner

Value:
I could not find a better sound for less money and I doubt you could either....The amp is a great buy for the money...

Desirability:
It is a good-looking head but, (There is always a but)It's compact design though good-looking just comes up a bit short from its full size counter-parts

Sound:
I would say 11 but it's has no tubes;) It was not hard to find the real bluesy sound I was looking for.....and it make metal melt

Support:
I have owned a couple of crate combos and always recieved great service (FIVE YEAR WARRANTY)

Overall:
I like this amp so much I think I would buy another one when the warranty runs out....

Style of Music: Blues and even some metal ;)

"The coolest little start out/ rehersal amp around!"

This was the first head I had for my first stack. It all sounded so good it embeded this company's quality in my ears and in my heart. I don't wanna play on anything else anymore...... nothing sizes up!
