The CAD Stage7 is a 7-microphone drum package complete with microphone clips and fashioned to mic up even the largest 7-piece drum sets.

D29 Cardioid Dynamic Percussion Microphone

The D29 is a cardioid, moving-coil dynamic microphone specifically designed for the capture and reinforcement of tom-tom drums and other acoustic percussive instruments. The cardioid polar pattern provides off-axis rejection crucial for on-stage clarity.

Although designed with percussion in mind, excellent results are also obtained when used on on most electrical and acoustical instruments.

The integrated drum clip is designed to facilitate rapid, optimal placement.

D19 Supercardioid Dynamic Percussion Microphone

D19 is a supercardioid, moving-coil dynamic microphone specifically designed for the capture and reinforcement of snare drum and other acoustic percussive instruments. The supercardioid polar pattern provides off-axis rejection crucial for on-stage clarity. Although designed with percussion in mind, excellent results are also obtained when used on most electrical and acoustical instruments. The integral drum clip is designed to facilitate rapid, optimal placement.

D10 Cardioid Dynamic Kick Drum Microphone

The D10 is a cardioid, moving-coil dynamic microphone specifically designed and carefully equalized for kick drum capture and reinforcement. Special attention has been given to enhancing "thump", "crack" and "click" while reducing "boxiness". Although designed for kick drum, excellent results are also obtained when used on floor toms, electric guitar and electric bass cabinets.

The die-cast metal body and hardened protective steel screen provide rugged durability. Integrated swivel mount is included.

C9 Cardioid Condenser Instrument Microphone

Packaged in a small, rugged, all-metal body, the C9 cardioid condenser microphone is designed primarily for overhead drum miking. The cardioid polar pattern focuses sensitivity to the front of the microphone while minimizing sources arriving from the rear. Transformerless line-driver circuitry improves transient agility while maintaining phase alignment for clear detail. The integral polymer isolation mechanically decouples the capsule from the body minimizing acoustical conduction from the floor through the mic stand. Although designed for drum overheads, the C9 also excels when used on classical stringed instruments, acoustic guitars, and folk instruments.

Shock-isolating swivel mount is included. P12 (12V), P24 (24V), or P48 (48V) phantom power is required.

"Mics"
Sound: The tom mics: seem to catch a LOT of bass, and proximity effect is noticeable.The snare mic: good side rejection, but I hear a ton of noise from the tom above the snare. I don't hear much resonance with this mic.The kick mic: it is OK, but it just doesn't thump if you know what I mean. I tried all kinds of mic positions (I even put the mic IN the drum once) but I couldn't get a powerful kick.Overheads: they seem to be very dry, but they pick up the cymbals pretty well. They also lack presence. Feature: The built in drum mounts are really good. Ease of Use: Takes long to set-up, just like any set of drum mics. The mounts aren't like quick release or anything like that, but they are fine. Quality: Very good, these things have taken some beatings and are holding strong. Value: Compared to other drum mics, this set is a bargain. The mics are also very multipurpose so that's a plus. Manufacturer Support: Haven't called, hopefully won't have to. The Wow Factor: The black is a little bit cool, but there isn't much to the looks. Overall: These are durable mics that are pretty good overall.
Style of Music: Rock, some jazz.

Overall: I am very pleased with this mic set. I am using them with an tascam us-1800. They work prefectly together. Does take a little bit to get the sound i was looking for when recording, however once tweaked I have to do very little compression within software. Nice and clean sound.
