This is my first Acoustic Bass and I love it.I tried out several Acoustic Basses before I bought this one and I found them difficult to hear unplug, but this one is audible even if the side sound hole is covered. The bass has the traditional sound hole, which I like the traditional look, but also has a side sound hole under the pickup which you leave covered or uncovered, this is to allow the player to hear more clearly, but if you are practicing alone at home you can hear just find with the cover in place. My first instrument was a fiddle AKA violin so I love the fact this bass is fretless. I originalyl thought I would get this bass and later purchase a short scale for when I am playing on the couch or relaxing in bed, since I am a petite female, but I don't think that will be necessary as this one is full size but very comfortable.

Musical Background:

Started playing piano as kid, then a fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar and now bass

Musical Style:

I love rock, but enjoy all types of music.
