Feature:
Love all the stomps. Could have at least supplied power pack and one bank switch (I've had to buy two but as it's so good it's worth the investment.)
Quality:
Solid as a rock. Also very useful for violent outbursts against annoying spectators!
Value:
Exceptional value if you have a little patience in order to twek the board to your desired sound
Desirability:
This quite simply is the best multi effects board. Destroys the GT-8 through pure ease of use
Sound:
Very good representation of real stomps all housed in compact box. Never going to be an exact replica though
Support:
It works fine so until I find a problem can only give perfect feedback.
Overall:
Superb value. Connected to a great tube amp, you can't go wrong

Feature:
In terms of features, the ME-50 has every type of effect that I would ever need plus more. However, there are a couple of dissapointments. First, the unit doesn't come with an AC adaptor, which I had to pay $20 bucks for. Thats just wrong. Also, you have to buy additional FS-5U pedals to control the bankswith your feet, which are $30 bucks a piece. Kind of a bummer, but the sound of the unit will cure that.
Quality:
This thing is built like a tank-Boss quality all the way. Enough said.
Value:
At $299, this processor seems relatively inexpensive. Just think what it would cost to get all the Boss stomp boxes that this unit encompasses. However, once you buy the AC adaptor, FS-5U's for banking, and shipping/sales tax, you're close to $400, which is what the Boss GT-6 costs.
Desirability:
I love this pedal, probably a little too much. It looks awesome with its blue finish and is very responsive. Its about time that somebody realized that sound, quality, and simplicity are the key attributes for an effects processor.
Sound:
This pedal sounds awesome! Other processors, namely the GT-6, sound way too manufactured for my taste. The ME-50 effects have that natural stompbox sound.
Support:
Haven't had to use it, but Boss has a great customer service reputation so I'm not worried.
Overall:
The only things that piss me off about this pedal are the additional accessories that you need to buy. Other than that, this processor is the best thing to happen to my set up. I originally bought the GT-6, but returned it the next day for the ME-50. Don't get me wrong-the GT-6 is very cool, but I had a hell of time figuring that thing out. Take my advice and go with the ME-50-you won't be dissapointed.
