The UB1222FX-PRO is the newest member of our growing family of professional UB mixing consoles. This 12-channel (4 mono plus 4 stereo) mic/line mixer features our highly acclaimed IMP 'Invisible' Mic Preamps, ULN Ultra Low Noise circuitry plus our new FBQ Feedback Detection System, a 24-bit multi-FX processor and an auto-range power supply.

Highlights include four state-of-the-art, studio-grade IMP 'Invisible' Mic Preamps with state-of-the-art 4580 operational amplifiers that provide the lowest noise and distortion plus ultra-high 130 dB dynamic range and the revolutionary, patent-pending FBQ Feedback Detection System that instantly displays the feedback frequencies via the LEDs of the built-in 7-band stereo graphic EQ. Plus, there is an integrated 24-bit digital stereo FX processor with 99 presets of Virtualizer fame (including reverbs, delays, chorus, compression, tube distortion, vinylizer and more), a breathtaking XPQ 3D stereo surround effect for an enhanced stereo image and even a Voice Canceller for karaoke fans.

Its full-featured channel strips include input trim controls with level-set and clip LEDs, ultra-musical 3-band EQs with low cut filter, monitor and FX sends, mute switch plus high-quality logarithmic faders for exact signal level control. The 4 mono channels have balanced low-impedance mic inputs with state-of-the-art IMP 'Invisible' Mic Preamps, switchable +48 V phantom power for condenser microphones, balanced high-impedance line inputs for direct connection of line sources or high-output instruments, inserts for connecting external processors and a pan control. Sound: Sound quality is - of course - always subjective. This $220 mixer sounds like a lot more expensive board. The most important qualities: quiet operation and transparent signal. I would have liked to have a sweepable mid-band EQ, but you can't have everything! The 9-band EQ on the main output somewhat compensates for this. The FX are decent and useable, but not stellar. Feature: You get a lot for the money. It's nice that you get an internal power supply ... no "wall wart" to deal with! The feedback finder came in handy during my first live outing with this mixer, and did it's job quite well. The "XPQ Surround" effect actually does a good job of livening up the overall mix ... nice touch, but don't overdo it! The internal FX are nothing to write home about, but very decent overall. Some hidden cool things (like the rotary effect speeding-up/slowing-down naturally) really show an attention to detail, adn make this useful beyond its typical "inexpensive live mixer" role. Quality: The metal casing seem very solid. The faders feel smooth and sturdy, but the knobs seem a little weak. Value: A great value in a live sound mixer (which is suitable for home recording as well) Manufacturer Support: No experience to speak of so they get a 8 until they blow it! The Wow Factor: It had everything I needed at the right price point + a few goodies. Overall: This will do the job just fine. I'll probably upgrade to something else for home recording, but keep the Behringer for live gigs or as a keyboard subxixer.

"The best mixer for your money!"

Sound: It sounds amazing. The FBQ works very well and the effects are awsome! Feature: Probally one of the best parts of this board (to me) are the 99 effects. Value: Defently worth the money. With all of its features, your are practally stealing it. It is very professional. Manufacturer Support: Very durable and great quality. The Wow Factor: it looks very good and its looks reflect the way it sounds! Overall: Not much i can say here that i diddent say already. it is awsome and it sounds amazing and you get much much more then what you paid for it!
