The new ACX450 is a 45-Watt, 2-channel amplifier which features an original 8 in. Bugera speaker for true acoustic fidelity. "Fiddlin' Phil"
Feature:
The Behringer has all the features I need for bluegrass,country,gospel fiddle application.
Quality:
The Behringer appears to be very well made. It has that decades old German engineering tradition that I've found in German scientific equiptment.
Value:
The Behringer's price tag shocked me. I could not believe I was getting the sound I wanted from such an inexpensive amp. Nor could I believe the low price for such a well built machine.
Desirability:
Well, it looks very professional and neat and "humble". I bought a nice looking black vinal cover on line for $40 and it looks fine.
Sound:
I never thought I'd find an amp that would sound as good as my 20 year old Trace Elliot TA50R. The TA hums so much that I can no longer use it. I play either Zeta electric violin or old Barcus Berry fiddle thru my new Behringer and it sounds "right". The other side I plug in mic to do some "relief singing" for my band. I use just the 1st reverb setting and it sounds fine.
Ease of Use:
I get some nasty low frequency scratching sounds from the bow going across the bridge, perpendicular to the strings. The analogue equalizer can pretty much eliminated this wolftone. The "knobs" are usuer friendly and intuitive for us attention deficit musicians!
Support:
I have not had to deal with the company.
Overall:
I won't be looking for another amp until this one starts humming! (Why do old amps hum? How come nobody can eliminate the hum?)

Behringer has always been on the top of my list. I've never been disappointed. They're right up there with Fender, Marshall and the others.
Desirability:
Acoustic amps are a lot different from other amps. And I noticed the difference right away. But I wouldn't hesitate to plug my electric guitar into this and wail away.

For the money, you can't beat it. This is the 3rd Behringer amp I've owned and I must say...it's outstanding. The quality constructionv keeps the user in mind. My acoustic electric sounds great using this amp.
