V3 provides optimized reference points to begin the recording process. The V3 presets were created and fine-tuned by some of the industry's top studio and live-sound engineers, along with a veteran engineering department. V3 allows you to select between a multitude of preamp settings designed for guitars (electric and acoustic), keyboards, bass guitars, drums, vocals, and more. V3 gives you incredible presets for every instrument you record, so all your recordings will sound professional. Need to tweak the presets? Go right ahead - hone your perfect tone! That's the power of V3.

V3 also incorporates ART's OPL (Output Protection Limiter), which precisely and accurately controls and maintains the output peak signal. The OPL circuitry is crucial in protecting the next link in a signal chain - such as a hard-disk recording system or a sound card.

While it's primary application is to be used with a microphone, the Tube MP Studio V3 can also function as a direct box - impedance matching, amplifying, and improving the sound of any instrument plugged into it. The design of the Tube MP Studio V3 allows it to add warmth and fatness to a signal while maintaining low-noise.

The Tube MP Studio V3 features all the tone and functionality of its predecessor, the world's number one Tube Mic Pre, the Tube MP. Phase Reverse, +48v phantom power, clip LED, and a +20dB switch are all included, as well as an analog VU meter for visual tracking of the signal.

Whether you're working with a computer, hard disk, or digital multi-track recorder, the Tube MP Studio V3's design delivers professional recording studio results at a fraction of the cost of comparable equipment.

"It would be perfect and compelete if only it had a earth lift function!"
Sound: Very full tube sound! Feature: I only miss the earth lift. Quality: The knobs are long and therefore handy but also a threat to damage in my pre-amp flightcase. Value: Good price for a good sound! Manufacturer Support: I never needed any contact with the company. The Wow Factor: It looks cool with the VU-meter! Overall: I only miss the earth lift, otherwise it is a cool complementary di/pre-amp to have. It is cool for phantompower, DI, eq settings, pad. I use it for a lot of different instruments and voices.

zZounds has verified that this customer bought this product from us. "If your just looking for a little more gain then this is perfect for you."
Sound: Has some very good sound. I am using it on drums and on vocals. I hope to use it soon on a mic acoustic guitar. I like the adjuster selector. There is some hiss when you push the gain button but that is to be expected on a low budget pre-amp. Feature: I like the option of the selector button. Ease of Use: Very easy to use. Quality: Good strong case and looks like it will last. Value: Very good starter pre-amp. Very well built. Manufacturer Support: No problems with the amp. I di peg the needle and I thought I busted it. The needle returned to normal. I had the mic recording with a amp producing the output. This created a loop that made the pre-amp pegging the needle. The Wow Factor: Just a good starter pre-amp. Overall: For what I am doing I expect to use this for several more years.
