Manufacturer's Description for Ampeg BXT115HL Bass Cabinet (400 Watts, 1x15 in.)

When Victor Wooten and Steve Bailey were looking for full range cabinets, they came to Ampeg. These cabinets are designed for the R&B, Funk, and Jazz player. The BXT-115HL single 15 in. and horn features a new crossover design that smoothes out the highs for incredible definition. The variable level control adjusts the top end to perfectly match your instrument.

Both of the BXT Enclosures are available in 4 and 8-ohm versions. They include 1/4 in. and Neutrik SpeakOn connectors and employ the same high frequency protection found on the Classic and Pro Series cabinets. zZounds is an authorized dealer of Ampeg products.

Sound: Very respnsive sepecialy on mid and high end fast and defined. Has lots of low ( more than the other BXT cabs that I dont think have that much low end ). Feature: Great features allthe ampeg goodies. Ease of Use: easy its a cab but it is a bit on the heafty side. Quality: very good for what you pay for it and well put together made to last Value: good quality for the money but still a bit $$ Manufacturer Support: havent had to use it Overall: Good does what it is suposed to and not terrible on price compared to some of the other road wothy stuff out there that can reproduce better defined sounds

Ampeg BXT115HL Cabinet Customer Review
Sound: the low end tone is unbelievable! it is also pretty loud. i also have the bxt410hlf but the 15 inch baby is a lot louder. both make a perfect combo. Ease of Use: very heavy :(
