Being a hardwire/ wireless convertible design, the D 880M is becoming the new standard microphone for lead and backing vocals on stage.

Never before has it been possible to produce a diaphragm with differentiating thicknesses. The Varimotion process allows the adjustment to take place at the diaphragm. The result is a quantum leap in sound performance.

The Doubleflex anti-vibration system reduces all kinds of interference.

The package includes the microphone, a stand adapter, and carrying case. zZounds is an authorized dealer of AKG products.

AKG D880 Handheld Mic Customer Review

Sound: I love the sound on these mics. I use them to mic the praise team at my church and they are better than I expected. A lot of the instruments and musicians are in a tight space and I've only gotten feedback a couple of times and that has come from adding another brand mic into the picture. Quality: It's a sturdy mic. It doesn't feel like it's going to break like some shure and nady mics do. It also has a nice feel to it. The casing feels kind of rubbery but it's solid. Feels good in you hand.

"AKG D880, what else needs to be said?!"

Sound: More output and warmer sounding than the SM58.Brought one to a gig for a female vocalist that was having trouble with her mic cutting out.It was stellar, the best i have ever sounded in the monitors, was her responce. My responce was even better out front.Used 2 on a leslie cabinet recently as well, warmed the rotating horn sound up and wasn;t as harsh as a Sm57. Quality: AKG, what else do you need to say.
