Designed from the inside out for balanced performance in tone and feel, Phosphor Bronze wrap wire produces a rich, full sound with even tone throughout the harmonic range, while "Composite Gauging" provides for a set that is consistent in tension and amplitude from string to string.

"Composite GaugingTM" is utilized on the Adamas phosphor bronze and bronze acoustic guitar sets.
Significant changes have been engineered into the fifth and sixth strings.
These strings utilize core and wrap wire of identical size so that neither part of the string dominates the various modes of string vibration.
Thus, the strings vibrate more consistently and with greater amplitude to produce a sharper, more precise tone.

Feature:
Will last the recreational player nearly indefinitely, the 3 hr-a-week player 3 to 6 months and the 8 hr-a-day pro a solid 30 days without breakage, tonal degradation or tuning problems.
Quality:
Well made, consistent, long-lasting strings. One time I had several sets (I buy 10 at a time and change monthly)where the end ferrels did not have enough winds on them and the strings would unravel at the ferrel under tension. I e-mailed the factory, got a quick and attentive ear, the problem resolved at quality ontrol and 3 free sets in a week and a factory apology! No problems since.
Value:
I've spent TONS more on things like Elixers (which are dead out of the box because of their coating), cost several times as much and go dead in 3 months with increasing tuning problems. Sure, they don't break for 6 months but the sound is "SUCK!" For $7.95 Adamas can't be beat! Try one set and you'll NEVER play anything else. I played D'Angelico's for years but quality control problems at the factory forced me to change (5 sets, back to back, dead out of the pak; factory ignored all calls, calls and e-mails).

Adamas sounded better and kept their clear, balanced tone superbly for 3 months. I spend the last 2 years playing every 12-string set I could find, kept notes, and kept them on the guitar till one broke, they went dead tonally or I just couldn't keep it in tune from one key to the next. These strings topped them all! An amazing value for the professional musician.
Ease of Use:
From fingerpicking to really digging in and thrash-strumming, these strings deliver it all! The lighter gauge keeps the bass from being overwhelming or getting muddy; it is always well-balanced tonally.

Overall:
If the factory quality control continues and the price remains the value it is, I'll never change!
