"This has great punchy tone."

Sound:
No cab is perfect but this cab will make your bass be heard over the rest of the band.Something about aluminuim speakers brings out a punch in the bass that no other speaker can do.If you play metal to country and jazz,Hartke will give you great tone!Get this cab.

"The perfect entry-level cab"

Not the same speakers as the XL series cabs, but they deliver beautifully. My first Cab, it handles small venues at low volumes with execptional low end and clarity. My only knock is that tends to break up somewhat at higher volumes across the low strings(I play a 5 string Hartke Bass)top end is really nice though. There is no better value for the money.

Transporter Series cabinets provide a portable and affordable Hartke option for working bass players. Built with the same care as Harke's world-class XL Series systems, each cabinet features sturdy 3/4 in. + 5/8 in. composite plywood and specially designed Hartke TP aluminum-cone drivers. Featuring road-proof metal grilles, every Transporter cabinet delivers a wide frequency response coupled with a tight, punchy low end. These durable cabinets also include a road-tough covering, reinforced corners, and sturdy handles for easier portability.
