"Incredible Bass at an incredible price!"

Feature:
Super construction excellent set up right out of the Box. Korean Barts and preamp are excellent. The wood grain is incredible. The nexk is awesome super sustain. No Dead spots on this neck!! Love the arched back. This Bass could be priced at twice what they sell it for and it would still be a bargain.

Quality:
Quality control is excellent.

Value:
I don't think you can get a better Bass for the money.

Desirability:
The looks of the bass is amazing. The pictures do not do this Bass justice!

Sound:
Excellent, Wide variety of tones, you can get almost any sound you want from this Bass.

Support:
I am only giving it a five because I have no idea so I figure five is fairly neutral.

Overall:
I simply Love this Bass.

"Minor fret issues - otherwise GREAT BASS!"

Feature:
Everything I needed, neck-thru construction and tilt-back headstock, plus a very thin fast neck. WOuld love to see a coil tap for the PUs but no big deal, I can add that later.

Quality:
Excellent construction - reminds me of the multi-thousand dollar boutique basses in neck and body construction. It does, however, need some fretwork. Mine came with a couple of too low or too high frets. I am taking it to a local tech I use to fix it. Not a major thing, but it does require this extra work.

Value:
Super for the money!

Desirability:
Curved body ala Spector and some others makes this a very desirable bass to me.

Sound:
Good solid tone, very consistent. Flexible electronics, quality pickups.

Support:
I don't know.

Overall:
I'll keep this one a while I am sure. I may replace the pickups eventually just for a different sound, but once I have the frets fixed it will be a great player. I would give it a 10 if it were not for the fretwork.

About This Product!
Description
Docs
The most significant Soundgear "upgrade" for 2004 may be the addition of an entirely new SR905. The SR905 is amazingly affordable but is loaded with must-have features for the pro-player: Bartolini MK1 pickups, the Bartolini MK1 3-Band EQ, Accu-Cast B20 bridge and an arched topped body of figured maple fitted with a 5pc maple/bubinga thru-body neck. Soundgear's thin neck and active electronics are what put Ibanez on the map in basses in 1987. What has kept the Soundgear in the forefront has been the fact that it has evolved as bass playing has evolved. The SR905 and the entire 2004 Soundgear line still have what Soundgear a radically different bass in 1987 - but they have new appointments and electronics that keep the Soundgear line on the cutting edge 17 years later.
