"Behringer has a winner with these"

Feature:
They are your basic speakers that sounds excellent for the price. Not much to discuss in the way of features.

Quality:
Built extremely durably with metal grilles and heavy high-quality plastic enclosures.

Value:
Like I stated above, probably close to unbeateable for the money. You'd be hard pressed to find something it's equal for under $150 a pair.

Desirability:
Not much sex appeal here! Though very desirable for price point.

Sound:
For this price point - probably close to unbeatable. I use them as near-field monitors in my home studio. I do have a separate sub as these don't go much under 60 hz. For mastering purposes - they probably color the sound a little, but it didn't take long to get used to them and now I get fairly accurate recordings with these.

Ease of Use:
Plug 'em in and off you go. Not much eq-ing necessary. If your using them to master - they don't take long to get a feel for. You WILL need a sub though.

Support:
Never had to deal with them. I own upwards of 15 pieces of Behringer gear and have never had a problem.

Overall:
There are better speakers, though you'd pay a ton more to get a noticable difference. If you have a home studio on a budget or your looking for some small speakers to complete a system, I think this is a no-brainer.

ermmm...i found myself playing with myself reading the specs...but i do that all the time anyway....so

Sound:
worth the price....would pay twice as much

Ease of Use:
they are speakers....hook up wires....done

Support:
they have a rep of making inexpensive good pieces....i would compare the company to black&decker or a 30 pack old style....nothin special but it works

Overall:
until it breaks...then i will hate it

Behringer's new Monitor 1C is a compact high-performance 2-way loudspeaker system ideally suited for audio/video multimedia applications, home recording studios and surround-sound systems. It has a powerful 5 1/2 in. woofer with an extremely light-weight cellulose cone, a high-resolution 1/4 in. tweeter plus a phase-optimized high-precision crossover for absolute phase linearity. The result: an ultra-linear frequency response ranging from 60 Hz all the way up to 23 kHz. Thanks to the 1C's high power handling capability (100 Watts / IEC268-5) with auto overload protection that prevents tweeter damage and resets automatically, you get full-range output with extremely low distortion.
