Vater Hickory Drum Sticks 5B
The Vater 5B sticks are very responsive, comfortable and balanced sticks with acorn tip. The eye-catching wraps (colors do vary) themselves are high density without compromising the weight and balance of the stick. Hickory is the most popular wood used for making drum sticks because it can absorb a great amount of shock, which reduces hand and wrist fatigue. The Vater 5B is an incredibly versatile drumstick while the wraps add an exciting visual aspect to your playing.

The Vater Slick Nut
The Slick Nut is a quick release wing nut unlike the traditional wing nut because it doesn't need to be threaded on or off and won't loosen or fall off while you play. Simply hold in the fastening button, put Slick Nut on the cymbal stand to desired tightness and release button. The Slick Nut can also be used as a theft deterrent by simply tightening the hex set screw on the side of the body. This makes the Slick Nut non-removable, a great feature for drummers who have to leave their drum kits unattended for a period of time. The Slick Nut comes in 8mm, the most common thread size for cymbal stands, with top cymbal felt already attached. Hex key and replacement felt included.
