Sabine STX1100 Chromatic Tuner

Because of its 1/4 in. phone jack on each side, this tuner allows you to tune while you're playing. The built-in mic allows you to tune acoustic instruments with the same ease.

Phone Jacks
This tuner has a standard 1/4" phone jack on each side that allows you to plug a guitar into one side and plug the amplifier into the other. This feature allows you to tune your guitar while you are playing.

Built-In Microphone
The built-in microphone allows you to tune acoustic instruments. The sensitive microphone doesn't require you to pluck loudly to tune unless you are in a very noisy room. Plucking the string once per second with medium loudness usually gives the best results.

Plugging a guitar into the tuner automatically disconnects the internal microphone so the tuner will not pick up extraneous background noise.

Front Display Panel
The tuner features a rugged solid-state LED array. The LED display provides the same continuous indication of tuning error by varying the LED blink rate. LEDs are much easier to read, especially in the dark or at a distance. In addition, LEDs do not introduce angle-of-view errors.

The tuner features new contrasting Red and Green note indicator LEDs. The green LEDs indicate the 6 standard guitar notes (E,A,D,G,B,F).

Music Stand Clips
The tuner has 2 stainless steel clips built into the top of the tuner. These clips are designed to allow you to clip the tuner directly onto a music stand. This is a great convenience that the beginning student through and the professional musician will enjoy.

best $50 tuner out there, i will definately buy a replacement if mine ever croaks
Sound
i dont notice any coloration of the sound when plugged in
Features
i own the stx 1000, but ive played with the stx 1100 and the added tone generator is a great idea
Quality
seems to be made well, i owned one (and still do) for 10+ years (i think - a long time anyway), plastic case is a little beat up and theres duck tape holding the battery in, but its been well abused, and still works great to my amazement
Value
well worth the money, maybe spend twice the amount for a boss tu-2, but for $50ish go for it
Manufacturer Support
havent tried
The Wow Factor
it doesnt really make me feel sexy, but it gets the job done
