12-inch woofer
This two-way PA speaker contains a 12-inch long-throw woofer for tight, meaty bass. With a frequency response all the way down to 65 Hz, you'll have all the low-end punch you need to wake up the dance floor. The loudspeaker is rated at 200 Watts RMS for the lows, with 320-Watt peaks for plenty of headroom. Crank the volume and fill any venue with vivid, undistorted music. Who says you can't bring the thunder with 12's?
1.25-inch tweeter
For snappy high-frequency sparkle, a 1.25-inch compression driver delivers response up to 20 kHz. Wailing guitars, edgy vocals, and shimmering cymbals all slice through the mix with crystal clarity. You don't need to worry about blowing this baby with 50 Watts RMS and 80-Watt peaks. The driver is coupled with a large-format conical horn for balanced high-end distribution throughout the space. To mellow-out the midrange, Behringer uses a 2.4 kHz crossover. You'll hear creamy smoothness across the entire frequency range, and the whole mix will sound natural and rich.
Wide dispersion
Some PA speakers only give those lucky few fans in the center of the room a real taste of your music, while everyone else wonders why the sound is so unfocused and muddy. B212A's have a wide dispersion range for a targeted, transparent image across the mains. Everyone gets the full-on mix, hearing all the subtle details you work so hard to include.
Onboard sound processing
Many working musicians run their own sound, tweaking their mix on the fly. The B212A's integrated sound processor gives you an additional level of control, right at the speaker, for fast fine-tuning during the performance. Suppose you're plowing through your set, and you're feeling like the bass is too boomy. You could ask the bass player to re-EQ to try and tighten up the bottom, but then he'll be pouting all night. The B212A's two-band EQ control lets you roll off the bass or boost the highs, custom-tailoring the mix while the bassist happily grinds away. Now, if only they made a knob to keep him in time...
Versatile use on stage
As with any roadworthy audio gear, Eurolive speakers are easy to integrate into your existing PA rig. Servo-balanced XLR and TRS connections match up with any mixer.
