9 out of 10
Feature:
The bass looks great with the saw bladed neck, and the skull knobs. The 2 things I didnt like was that it didnt come with a strap wich pissed me off, and the pickups are powered by a 9v battery.
Quality:
This is one hell of a beast of a bass. Great for taking on the road. It can handle some abuse, and I dont expect this bass to break any time soon.
Value:
The value was spectacular. A Dean sold for $300. The brand Dime Bag Darrel himself used. So if your a fan of the Dime man, by a Dean.
Desirability:
If your a serious metal head or a devoted groupy then you would love to play or see your favorite bands use it.
Sound:
The sound of this bass is amazing. It has a very deep powerful sound perfect for heavy metal.
Ease of Use:
It was farely easy to tweak to your likeings, you just have to know what sound you want.
Overall:
I plan on useing this bass until it doesnt work anymore. It sounds great, its an amazing company, and it looks awesome. I would really recomend it if you wanna rock out and get those seriously freaky groupies :)

Feature:
This bass has two volume, and two control nobs, making it very easy to change your sound without needing any other effects. The ickups run on a 9volt battery, which gives them so much power that it is so easy to play beyond your band.
Quality:
The quality is amazing.
An example: I tuned my base when i first got it (it was basically in tune already) and I have only had to tune it about 2 or 3 times in the last 6 months.
Value:
If i were the maker of this bass, i would sell it for at least $1000. That just shows the value you get on this bass.
Desirability:
This edgy shape and cool fretboard inlays (not to mention the ruby eyed skull knobs) make this base have such greet street appeal.
Sound:
The sound quality of this bass is amazing. It has far exceeded my expectations. I have owned and played many and peavy epiphone basses ranging from 600-100 dollars and this is by far the best. The best part of this bass is sts sustain. The sustain of the open E string lasts longer than 3 times my fender strat and my gibson SG.
Ease of Use:
This base feels so good and comfortable, mostly because the action is at a perfect height. Playability is a 10, but i gave this a 9 because the odd shape makes it sometimes hard to move.
Support:
Great support. Very easy to contact dean.

I would recommend this bass to anyone, from beginner to pro musician. Great for any bassist.
