"Cute butt kickin' lil pup!"

Feature:
I was somewhat surprised that this came packaged together, obviously intended to be sold only as a single sale, but didn't include speaker cables. Not that I was short speaker cables but for anyone buying this little rig might have to make a trip to the music store just to try it out. No pedals, nothing fancy and I like that.

Quality:
Very well made. Solid. The stacking corners work. It's size and weight are why I bought this as a practice rig to take somewhere else. My 4 X 10" cabs and Peavey Firebass head or my 2 Crate BT-350 heads I use in tandem in biamp are a load. I do worry my cat might knock it over so I unstack it after using it.

Value:
This is, in my mind, one of the best choices for a combo. The sound and portability make it worth 50% more than it's sold for.

Desirability:
This thing is so cute that even if it didn't work well it's a nice decoration. Especially sitting next to my big stacks. Like their puppy!

Sound:
The 2 10" speakers are housed in very efficient lightweight cabs. The separate cabs help the sound while keeping the weight down by not needing baffles to counter 2 speakers in a single enclosure. The sound projection is noticeably better than a combo with 2 speakers mounted horizontally just off the floor.

Ease of Use:
The input gain stays moderate until about 3/4 of the way up. Then it gets very good without distorting. With the gain at 2/3 and the volume about halfway, my passive Fender P sounded very good considering the size and intent of this rig. The deep in/out actuallu works quite well. The 3 adjustments for bass, mid and treble are wide ranging in sound.

Support:
Don't know & hope I don't need to find out!

Overall:
I only got this for practice & portability. Probably the only combo I'll need at least for a while.

"The "Perfect Ten" is just that perfect!!!"

Feature:
The small size, cool appearance, quality construction and clean power are major pluses. I can't find a thing to fault about this little power house. Perfect (10)!!!

Quality:
No flaws, cheap materials, or malfunctions. Looks to be a high quality, well designed piece. Quality control appears to be first rate. Even the cool VU has a convex clear lens instead of a cheaper flat plastic piece. A nice touch and an indication of attention to detail in it's over all design and build.

Value:
I've never seen higher quality or heard better sound for such a small amount of money. Great value!

Desirability:
It's a sexy little amp. Very, very cool.

Sound:
This is the best little practice rig I've ever used. Great tone, volume, looks and construction. A real step up from those under powered, crappy beginer's amps. I couldn't be happier with the Ashdown so far. I live in SLC so I thought a NJ dealer would ship from back east and it would take a week to arrive. My mini-rig came out of Sparks Nevada and was here in just two days! The "Perfect Ten" really lives up to it's name IMO. It is perfect for practice and small gigs. @$200 it just can't be beat. Great little amp and at a great price. Very good service from Zzounds as well.

Ease of Use:
Stack it up, plug it in, set the tone and you are groovin'.

Support:
N/A haven't need them yet.

Overall:
I don't think I will need or want another practice amp for as long as this continues to function. It really fills the bill.

About This Product!
Description
From Our Catalog
Having set the new standard for powerful, compact, yet immensely portable bass amps, Ashdown's All Access Bass Series has just produced a new baby - the Perfect Ten MiniRig. Based on the amplifier design of the award-winning Perfect Ten combo - but sporting a more powerful 65-Watt output - the Perfect Ten head is partnered by two 10 in. cabinets, making the combined rig a true miniature powerhouse.

Conceived as a home or practice set-up, the Perfect Ten MiniRig actually packs enough muscle to hold its own in small gigs, far outstripping standard practice amps in both quality and flexibility.

The feature set is typically Ashdown, providing all the essential controls you'll need in an intuitive and logical layout. Input and Output Gain controls are standard, along with a three-band rotary tone control section (Treble, Middle and Bass), plus the bass response can be instantly extended by way of a simple 'Deep' switch.

A front panel CD input means you can play along with pre-recorded backing tracks, while also doubling as a line output for recording situations. If noise is an issue then the headphone output allows silent practicing, and a classic Ashdown VU meter lets you keep an eye on your levels.

Durability is further enhanced by the use of tough protective corners and heavy duty covering, and the whole package is rounded off by the inclusion of all speaker cables - meaning the Perfect Ten rig is ready to play straight out of the box.
