Feature:
The pop-up volume control and built in equalizer come in real handy.

Quality:
I had the Ovation Custom Legend 12 string before this and never found a flaw in either guitar.

Value:
A great guitar for the money.

Sound:
I play my Ovation Celebrity Viper through a Fender Accoustasonic amp and it sounds fantastic!

Ovation Celebrity CV68 Customer Review

The ovation acustic\electric guitars with the sound holes next to the cuts instead of below the strings was an excellent idea. the sound quality is like night and day compaired to regular acustic. the sound holes release they perfect amount of bass mixed with the high tones generated from the strings. on a regular acoustic the sound hole resonates too much high tone. it really sounds good with those nylon coted steel strings.

The Celebrity Viper gives you the best of both the acoustic and the electric. The thin body has the comfort of an electric, but the sound is all acoustic. The chambered Mahogany body, Spruce top, and Ovation thinline pickup give it a quality of sound that could only be Ovation. The Thinline 3-band graphic EQ with a pushbutton volume control, features on the Viper, steps neatly out of harms way when you don't need it. If you have never liked the round-back bowl, then the Viper is the Ovation for you.
