1 out of 10Feature:
yeah yeah it's packed with tons of features... but remember it's a digital piano! so the piano is supposed to be good-What's the reason for having nice features, eye-catching look when the piano itself(isn't it why you purchase the digital piano?) is bad?
Quality:
looks good and tough
Desirability:
I don't want it at all and I will never want to play it at all. I would cry If I need to play this piano on the stage. In fact, Korg has never made a good piano, see how the pianos sound in their syns , like Triton and Karma. Korg is goot at making a real "synthesizer" not "acoustic emulation instrument". Yamaha, Roland and Kurzweil are far better than Korg in imitating acoustic instruments.
Sound:
THIS BOARD DOESN'T SOUND LIKE A PIANO!, and if you said that you were fooled when playing this board with eyes closed, you must not have heard how the real acoustic piano sounds. If you wanna laugh, try one of the demo songs called "Fantasie Impromptu Op66" and suddenly you'll know it sounds even worse than a $200 Casio! Go get classical CDs to see how the good pianos should sound and I'm sure you won't go for this canned piano.
Overall:
everything seems bad to me, so why do I give it a 3? because:-
1. It looks great
2. It is packed with tons of features

10 out of 10Feature:
Awesome features for what I paid, a bargain. You can do almost anything with it. Play in church, a Jazz band on stage or just practice Classical Music. The keys are very close to the real Grand Piano. The Auto Comp. Styles are awesome. You can also use Mixer to get many different combinations, endless possibilities! Korg is the best for style, and they all sound like a real band playing with you.
Quality:
Top built and finish quality, the silver top goes well with the wood frame. Very solid and heavy too, must the weighted keys!
Value:
I get much more than what I paid,
Desirability:
can't find a better looking keyboard/digital piano on the market, very cool and sexy.
Sound:
The Piano sound can be very good, but you have to configure it. The factory setting is very basic, and piano sound is quite muddy (for me). To get a nicer piano sound (to my preference), the easiest way is to turn on the Demo mode and play it like normal. Otherwise, this is what I normall do:
1) Put the touch value to 'Light 1' or 'Light 2'
2) Change the instrument frequency, default is 440 Hz, but something higher between 442-444Hz makes it sound more natural like a piano. Do this by going into functions/page1
3)If you're happy with it, go to functions/page7 and save it so next time you turn on, the values of Touch and Frequency is saved.
4) Play around with the Effects, choose a combination of Chorus and Reverb that's best for your music style and playing environment. For mysefl, I like a natural piano sound so I prefer Reverb/Hall set @ 65
and Chorus/Flanger1 set @ 20.
Support:
Don't think I ever need it.
Overall:
I'm very happy with this one and will probably have it for years. Before buying this, I was considering buying a digital piano so I could practice classical and a keyboard with style so I can play in a band. But this one is all I need now! Whenever people see it, they always say 'WOW'. It's indeed very sleek and sexy!

9 out of 10Feature:
I highly recommend this model because it has a lot of features available to the player. The feature which caters most to me is its ability to retune not only in non-western tunings like the Slendro and Pelog tunings of the Balinese Gamelan (which are pre-programmed)but also to tunings developed by the user. There are four banks available for the player to import their own non-equal-tempered tunings. Although you're still stuck with 12 notes to an octave which would still make the 72-note-per-octave systems of Ezra Simms impossible, this is by far the most user friendly and inexpensive instrument available that offers microtonal features.
Quality:
The keyboard has a nice finish...It seems like it is made well but I'm no expert in cosmetics...I play music. Do I think that the quality is of the degree that would allow me to carry out this practice? Yes.
Sound:
Very Nicely Sampled Patches. Although I have heard a better Rhodes on the Yamaha models I found all the other sounds to be of unsurpassed quality. The piano sampling is indeed a big feature of this instrument.
Overall:
After a long day in the keyboard section of the music store I finally came to this model. I'd been looking for a well rounded model that I could gig with but also use for microtonality. This was the least expensive model I found that boasted these features and a lot more. I am sold and will return to get this instrument. The action is great, it has a excellent sound, and it fulfills all of my present musical needs. Highly reccomend!
