"Definatly for a begginer."
Feature:
The tuner that comes in this pack is better than some, but it is not high quality. It is a little vague, concidering it only has LEDs to show how sharp or flat the note is. The picks are useless to me, as I prefer the sound produced by fingers. The strap is ok, a leather would be better, but that would come with a much better guitar.
Quality:
Nothing to compare it to, it's the only one I've played.
Value:
I think the price is ok for what comes with it.
Desirability:
Looks ok, kinda like a Strat, but a bass.
Sound:
When tuned correctly, the bass sounds very nice. However, when detuned, some of the positions buzz if you misplace your fingers even the smallest bit. There are a lot of tone options due to the individual volume controls for each pickup. The amp is pretty good, concidering it's a 10 watt.
Ease of Use:
You'll have to wait until your hands get stronger to be able to make complex chords in the lower frets, assuming you are a beginner. It would be nice if there was a second tone control, but it's not necessary. It's easy to tune, but you will have to tune it every three days or so.
Support:
Never needed to call anyone.
Overall:
I will only keep this is bass until I learn to play. Once I have learned to play, I will get a better one. The rest I will keep until I decide I need something new or they wear out or break.

"I got it for my son, but I can't stop playing it."
Overall:
My son and some friends decided to start a band. And instead of paying out the crater for a rig, I settled on the jumpstart package...and I'm glad I did. I started out just replacing the strings(ghs bass boomers), next thing I know...I played for 2 hours. The neck is fast and created for smaller hands. Good for starters. A little messing around with the tone\volumes to get a clean sound, it's worth it's weight next to heavy hitters like ESP, Squier,...etc. If you're starting out or experienced on a budget, I highly recommend this package. You won't be disappointed.
