Schecter Blackjack SLS C1 Passive Left-Handed Electric Guitar

New for 2012, the Blackjack SLS (Slim Line Series) is built around some neck specifications not often seen on Schecter Guitars. The SLS collection has been built with the aggressive, metal-stylized player in mind. An ultra-slim satin-finished 25.5" scale maple neck with a smooth 24-fret ebony fingerboard is set-in with an extreme Ultra Access neck joint that allows for playing comfort and ease of access to the upper frets. The lightweight Mahogany bodies are also slimmer than their standard Schecter counterparts.

The SLS Collection is all about options, and the standard models are available with the player's choice of pickups. The Active Set utilizes two Seymour Duncan AHB-1 Blackout pickups, while the Passive option is loaded with a combo of Seymour Duncan Full-Shred and Jazz humbuckers. Both sets yield a wide array of articulate rock, jazz, and heavy tones. Six, Seven and 8-String models are included in the SLS Collection.

Tuners - Schecter Locking

Schecter Locking Tuners feature a locking screw pin to lock the string into place for greater tuning stability. Details include a 19:1 gear ratio allowing for precise fine tuning adjustments, removable knobs, threaded peghead bushing, and a 10mm diameter peg hole.

Finger Board - Ebony

Pickups - Seymour Duncan Full Shred & Jazz Passive

Full Shred: Double rows of Allen screw pole pieces help fine tune the high end, leaving a tone that's fat and chunky, yet perfectly defined for speed riffs. Jazz: Classic moderate output humbucker. Don't let the name fool you; it's not only great for jazz, but also country, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock.

Neck - 3-pc Maple

Made with three pieces of maple for extra stability. three piece necks can withstand the test of time. Where standard necks may show aging defects from temperature and moisture changes throughout the years, the three piece neck will stay nice and straight for a lifetime of playability.

Body Thickness - Slim Line Series

The New SLS models feature a thinner arched top body (45 mm) for a lighter and more agile feeling guitar. Combined with the ultra-thin neck profile, new Ultra Access neck joint, and satin neck the SLS is built to shred!

Inlay - Hell's Gate Skull
