"Overall Soild Bass for not much money."

I bought this instead of one of the 2 new SR 300's my local shop had be cause they sold them both before I'd got there that day. The truss rod needed an turn and the ends of the fret wires needed filing down on both sides of the fretboard, but once that was all done it rocked. I've been a huge Ibanez fan since the late 80's MIJ SR 800's the SR 300's are great basses for the money and the maple on this particular model give the sound a little more of a fender p-bass character than the normal sr 300 and a different feel on the fret board but I dig it.
